    Thanks for this video. For 2 times changing the fuel filter has turned out to be extremely difficult to start the car. Many thanks for the info

    When you are bleeding the system, is the ignition on ? Because I am trying to bleed it, but no fuel comes out of that line.

      This vehicle doesn't have electric fuel pump you have to use manual pump it's explain in the video

    I've watched a couple of videos how to change and have messed up.
    I've changed the filter, I didn't use the hose like yourself and I started the engine straight away without turning the key on and off etc
    It started for a few seconds first time I tried to turn it over then it turned off. Then I tried turning the key just to the lights on then off a again for 15 seconds 4 or 5 times. Now it won't turn over at all.
    My question is what should I do now? Should I buy one of them hoses and suck the fuel through? I've got some of that easy start if that would help.
    Any help would be appreciated
    Thanks
    Pete

      This vehicle doesn't have electric fuel pump that's why didn't refill the system and engine shut off you need manual pump or some hose to refill the system with fuel then you can start the engine and don't use easy start

      @@mechanicigor thanks for the quick reply. I can order an oil suction gun with a 12.5mm outer diameter. Would that be the correct size for the hose? Also can you describe more about which side of the hose I need to put the suction hose on and where that is coming from. From the video I couldn't tell which hose I need to disconnect

      @@mechanicigor what diameter hose do I need?

      @@peterlinley6764 you have to disconnect return line from engine to chassis and return hose connect with that gun you said I think the hole of hose is 10mm but I'm not sure write now

      No it will start but will shut down you must use manual pump to bleed the system

    My tank doesn't just pull out something holding it inside?

    • @mechanicigor
      @mechanicigor  6 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @mechanicigor
      @mechanicigor  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Igor Dimoski Thanks for you help! I used easy start in the air intake and it worked. :) If I have to do it again I will refill the filter with diesel
      My clip was a bit rusty so it stuck, but I pulled it harder and it released
      Thank you for the video. :)

      Not surprised the filter was dirty, stop running the car with the diesel refuel light on. Simple. Pulling the crap through all the time.

      Why not just fill the housing up with diesel before putting the cap back on much easier
