Anyone that's serious about racing starts out on 125 cc shifter karts. These are nothing like them and much slower. Kids do start out on 125 cc shifter karts. This is just your local carnie letting you race very under powered karts on a needlessly slick track to keep speeds down. This is a family fun day thing which is fine but him saying like this is where you come to be a racer is dumb

It’s also height. You have to be 48’ for kids karts and 56’ for adult karts
