Congrats on the mother for being willing to accept the facts and not argue just to not seem wrong as so many are won't to do. However, I don't know if their marriage can survive this. She thought their husband was trying to kill their son and did not believe his side of the story before the deer was found. I don't think the husband could live with her comfortably after that.
I don't think they'll ever get back together relationship wise, but at least they can try to coparent in peace, which would be best for the kid. The lawyer just wanted an easy win, not really caring how much the sole custody would hurt the father, but also do immeasurable emotional damage to the kid. Stepparents aren't the same as biological ones, especially if you've gotten to know your bio parent. Divorces are never easy, but children tend to suffer the most during them. Also the mother was already very emotional (worried to death for her child, stressed out from her divorce), so the lawyer suggesting sth like that would definitely make her think the worst and jump to conclusions.
I think the panic of the situation combined with the unlikeliness of his story is a fair reason for her to doubt him. Yes, it's unlikely the marriage will survive, but I honestly don't blame her for distrusting him, especially if there was marital issues leading up to the accident as well. We just don't know what their marriage was like. The question now is where the heck did the deer come from?
I'm pretty sure that in the first part the mother also mentioned that she and her husband were in the process of splitting up, so the marriage was already kinda done
Yeah, its like having custody of the kids is a prize they have to win at all costs. And once they do win, they'll ensure that the other party never gets to see their kids, just pay for them. Then they'll complain how hard it is to be a single parent.
I love Stella and Kelly together!!!! I really really hope they stay together! Also will we ever get a Stella family backstory episode because we’ve never got one!!! 😂❤️🥰💕
Love severide and kidd ❤️ this is such a good video also, it makes me as annoyed as severide but understanding, mixture of emotions and I loveeee the show always anyway 🙏😊
Amicable or civil divorces only exist in fairy tales. 80% of all divorces are always nasty, and while the warring parties fight, they don't care who they hurt in an attempt to one up each other, either financially, emotionally or mentally. Whilst going through a divorce, the couple almost always behave more like kids throwing a tantrum than their own children. And you wonder why there are so many kids from broken families.
A cada episódio da Serie Chicago Fire me emociono cada vez mais com Severide sempre a procura da verdade e Stella sempre ao lado dele o apoiando com todo amor e carinho. O que há entre Severide e Stella é intenso, verdadeiro e apaixonante.
"ITS MY JOB TO PRESENT THE NARRATIVE THAT SCORES THE BEST OUTCOME FOR MY CLIANT" he doesn't even care about the truth, I know its tv and lawyers usually get a bad rap but he literally admitted on his own recording that he doesn't care about truth just what wins him the case, i just hope most lawyers ant like that.
You guys have inspired me soo much to be a firefighter! I would love to work for you guys one day although I live in Scotland I would move to Chicago just to get the job 🔥
Lads, even if it is a tv show, most scenes are quite real, mainly the dangers they portray of the scenes they go to. And this is coming from a real fire fighter. Now I cannot really judge on their procedures procedures because we do things very different in The Netherlands. (Example, we don't cut open roofs with chainsaws of houses and apartment buildings that are on fire.) As for you😉, Leon Miller, sir, good luck with the classes(they can be tough at times, mainly during the summer, but they are very informative and intersting. Especially the moments where you go to a training centre are great fun, good team bonding moments and very usefull experiences.) and have a safe career👍😉
Am I the only one NOT surprised about a Deer in the middle of Chicago?.. I mean I have never been to the USA.. let alone Chicago.. but.. just based of the fact 4 months ago there was a Deer loose in Sydney CBD in Australia.. when the guy said he was trying to dodge a Deer.. i was all.. 'thats plausible.. why would they doubt him?'.. if it can happen here.. surely its a more common occurrence over there.. 🤷♀️
I was afraid that the mother would think that Severide shot the deer in the woods, put the body near the crash site and tried to convince her that Masons father was innocent
Deer will also run off before they die. My ex and I hit a deer at night, we went to my sisters to get my brother in law because we knew the deer wasn't dead ( it had a badly broken back leg) and my brother in law had a Hunting rifle, to put the deer out of its misery. When my ex and bro in law went back they couldn't find the deer , it wasn't lying on the side of the road, when we drove by the spot in daylight the next day we saw the body of the deer a few feet into a Farmers Field where it had run to before collapsing and Dying.
Even if the family court is different, and even if the father is telling the truth. Wouldnt the Police had made that statement and figured out that the father did turn to advoid something? I dont know how it works in traffic related accidents in the US, but in Denmark at least, do the police have someone to their force that is specialized in traffic related accidents, where they do look at the factors at the screen. Like the skidmarks, witnesses and so on. Is the police in US doing the same, why would the family court act different as they would had gotten that report from the police and see that there is no meat on the bone for the father wanting to hurt the son?
Im happy that the lady was willingly to listen and accept the facts of the matter
Ok
Seeing as how blinded some mothers get, it's definitely a breath of fresh air
No
That's the episode where the car fell off a bridge and the kid's mom thought her ex husband willingly crashed his vehicle down that bridge!
i was under the impression she did it but thankfully i was wrong and the mans word was correct they did see a deer and that caused the accident
I really love how severide always tries to do what’s best for the family and for the kid 😊 he’s so sweet ♥️♥️
I know right, even in old episodes I really want some backstory abt how his childhood was
Because his parents also had an ugly divorce. He emphasises with the kid. He knows divorce has a potential to destroy that boy's childhood.
Yeah severide is like the best mixture of being badass and being kind
He’s going to be a great dad one day

Kind of hard to argue with a dead deer with a car bumper imprinted on it.
They were already separated, I thought?
Parents tend to fight each other for there children. Like they are some kind of victory prize but never realize that they are hurting them.

I hope she was being sarcastic when she mentioned not seeing hoof prints on the pavement... Lol
Julia Wintersgill I think she was meaning like muddy hoof prints
@@Taz48930 oh maybe...
She meant muddy lol you'd still see prints or Atleast dirt
I’m proud of that mum. My parents did get divorced and I got caught unwilling in the middle of the divorce. So I know how that kid feels.

I’m the piggy in the middle still even tho they divorced 3 year ago

What a snotty lawyer.
This reminds of my parents when they went through an ugly divorce my kid brother and I were their rope in their tug of war.

This is a TV show. These are not real firefighters.
umm, sorry to say this but its a TV show, it’s not actually real

It was in the city
Thats super rare
Like its normal to see a deer down town
@@tired-_-4311 I live in Brazil's biggest city, and in major highways crossing the middle of the city we have capybara crossing warning signs.
I was afraid that the mother would think that Severide shot the deer in the woods, put the body near the crash site and tried to convince her that Masons father was innocent
:) :) so happy when I watched Che
What I thought wS a bit sus was that he was quite far from the car and.. maybe he tried to run away??
In an earlier scene I think they say that he was thrown through the window because he wasn't wearing a seat belt :)
I thought the deer should be up on the level of the road, not under it.
Well it was hit by a car soo, it was thrown
Car hits deer, deer goes flying…they don’t weigh very much…my dad hit one once and they found it almost a mile away that’s how far it flew
Deer will also run off before they die. The dad.... I am trying to remember where I saw him before. In which movies or series. Can anyone help me?
He looks a bit like Ryan Reynolds if that helps
