Here’s the thing about that the FBI need to be somewhere where there’s space and to lay low so they need to limit activity cause fire engines could draw attention to criminals when the radio goes off so they need to lower anything that could make them seem suspicious
@@Kirat_suii and how much suspicion would it draw if the criminals turn on the news to see that theres a fire and the firehouse across the street has been quiet all day?
It's a tv show it's all scripted not everything has to be 100% realistic but trust me the FBI would never restrict a firehouse from doing it's duty unless not doing so would put everyone at risk
I wish this video had let Casey explain the other way to us, because it was a good example of how the bad guys never expect a threat when a savior comes.
@joewhitehead :: The writing is bad ! Suppose there was a real fire some place else ? These firefighters are moonlighting as FBI agents as another building could be burning ? Two dangerous criminals in a "burning" building pull out guns and start taking hostages ? Why didn't they just leave the building as concerned tenants with children ? They didn't know there were FBI among the Firefighters ? Not just criminals, but stupid ones !
I remember senior year in my school, one day after we had a fire drill, the Police wanted to go in and make a drug bust apparently and I heard they did it under wraps, so they set off the alarm system and the principal came over the intercom and said “This is not a drill, everyone needs to get out” and yeah as everyone was evacuating they made an arrest on those individuals who were dealing drugs I heard…….
How would the firefighters at Firehouse 51 feel if a branch of the United States Armed Forces like the Illinois Army National Guard, for instance, were to take over that firehouse for the time being because they need the Chicago Fire Department's help?
0:15 Did he really say to limit trucks responding to calls? Doenst that make it 10 times more suspicious??

@@mrroboshadow well u have a point there but I wouldn’t know every little thing about that
Wouldn't 0 ambulances and no truck going on calls be more suspicious? All of a sudden a ton of calls to none?
taking control of the station is 1 thing, but restricting our duty when there could be a call, or did the feds not consider that.
@@detmstr341 pretty sure ya just answered your own question

I'm pretty sure the female FBI agent that got shot didn't die.
She didn’t
Diversity hire
@@tk3510100 your brain's well and truly rotted huh
She didn't she just had small head punch
She had a bullet proof vest
Finally this came
the mission turns deadly
We need Chicago FBI show
If you watched Generation Kill the lead FBI Agent play Col Godfather he'd be great in that kind of show.
What kinda people pull guns on firefighters?
You’d be surprised, people attack EMT when responding to an emergency

And recently an FDNY EMS Lieutenant because someone stabbed her several times while on scene.

7:10 they could have just surrendered....
some people would rather die than go to prison. especially if they've already been to prison.

There has to be other ways
