As I used to say when I gave tours at Haunted Mansion. They took the organ from Tomorrowland and brought it all the way to New Orleans square. So this counts as the first successful Disney organ transplant.
From 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea to the haunted mansion
A couple of other noteworthy appearances of organs in films. In "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken", it is an organ in the attic with blood stained keys, that is heard playing, leading to solving an old mystery. In "The Great Race", Professor Fate (the villain of the piece, played by Jack Lemon) can be seen at the large pipe organ in his mansion.
At 5:18 on the left side you can count 13 candles on the cake. I had made a video about the Haunted Mansion. In the video mentioned that very fact. Thank you for showing real close up clips of the interior of the ballroom. Well done!
Gaylord Carter was the man who originally recorded the organ soundtrack. Sanbransky did some overdubbing after Carter’s original laydown of the tracks.
I can't believe it took me this long to add this little slight note to this video. The town Marshal that is in the shootout in the finale seen in phantom Manor. Has the exact same head as the organist animatronic figure in the Haunted Mansion
