      Bluetooth frustrates me a lot because of its piss poor standard. BT headphones worth $100 sound like absolute shit when you compare them to wired headphones with similar specs at $80. Plus, bluetooth doesn't play nice with internet calls. Discord calls make the sound quality on other applications drop significantly because of bluetooth's profile bullshit.

The headphones are going to play gibberish if they receive gibberish no matter how good they are." like dude seriously? You can never pick a side.
      I'm done with this whole bullshit honestly, what's a flagship device without basic functionality like a fucking headphone jack? They should've never switched until we had a proper solution. Apple just tried to get an advantage and EVERYONE jumps into it. They created airpods and now everyone is making truly wireless buds. I could give so many examples but I just want apple to stop already. For the love of smartphones please stop, we have had enough already.

      What's funny is that AES256 is the industry standard, and as such used not only by military, banks, governments, etc, but also by most VPNs, so bragging about is... kinda weird. It's like bragging about passing an exam when everyone else passed it as well.

      I kind of find it weird how Bluetooth is using similar technology to RF, yet is worse than RF in the audio department (Bluetooth is pretty good for quick data transfers). • @Razor2048
      @Razor2048 4 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Those older RF ones tend to be analog transmissions, while it means effectively no delay, there is al no privacy. If you live near any older studio like place (low budget stuff) and you have a basic SDR, you can listen in on wireless microphones really easily. Bluetooth while it has delays and lower overall quality due to the throughput limitations of the standard, there are no practical ways of listening in on what is being transmitted.

It detects, but no games recognize it and InputMapper doesn't either. However if I plug it in USB, everything just works. But then I have to have a USB extension cable so it's long enough to sit back with. Then it can easily come unplugged. I guess that's what I get for not using a standard PC controller.

      Not if you aren't a cheapo. Higher end devices nowadays [and for years now] can switch seamlessly between multiple devices. Just don't buy $20 Chinese pieces of garbage or stick within the Apple ecosystem, and you'll find freedom.

    They've also removed features from Bluetooth on phones these days, years ago on my old Nokia C3. I was able to allow my friend to browse my files when he was in range.
    This was awesome cause he had a phone with a tiny storage and i had a huge memory card, so he'd use my phones storage wirelessly at school to swap the music on his phone with music stored on mine and I didn't have to do anything.
    I feel as if Bluetooth file browsing like that could still be super useful ngl

    2years ago I couldn't listen to music on my BT Senheiser travelling in the city.. and this before the Airpods and phones lost the 3.5mm jack. I had my phone 10cm from my headset, atill didn't work smh..

    Watched this with an audio device connected with a 3.5mm plug. And it was gloriously easy to setup, no issue and the audio quality was superb.

    my biggest issue is, they all want us to use it and then when like 10 people around you also use bluetooth, it stops working.

    Wires just work for a lower price and no fiddling or batteries needed. Plus it often sounds better and no lag. There are very few situations where blutooth is genuinely useful.
