Is the v99 worth the price, especially compared with the v10 with its additional P2k? I've been trying to pick between the two for past few days and luckily I've come across your channel to find an actual review about the v99. I feel like I'd be okay with the wheel itself and the shifter but I'm not sure about the pedals. Would you think this would work with games like iRacing and RFactor 1 (especially ffb wise)? Thanks alot!
The V99 pedals feel sturdier but the V10 pedals can be stiffer. It also supports iRacing. However, I think it only supports rFactor 2 and not rFactor 1 :(

hows this compared to g29? does the paddle shifters position feels weird? too high or low because im comfortable using my two bottom fingers. and does it have that ticking ffb sound like on the g29?
The steering wheel of the V99 is a bit bigger, but the pedals of the G29 are slightly better. I do think that the paddle shifters are higher, and it would be a bit hard to use your two bottom fingers. As for the FFB, there is a distinguishable tick, but it isn't as loud as the G29.

Hey. I was wondering what would happen if you turned the wheel while the car isnt moving, will it stay in the turned position? Will it slowly go back into place as you accelerate? Lastly, do the pedals feel decent? I'll consider buying the set if these are all true
@@colinr5817 1) it depends on the game, but it usually stays in place untill you start moving then it aligns or steers in that direction more depending on how much you steered originally.
2) the paddles feel great and have a nice click sound to them, they don't travel too much.

Yes, there is vibration included. For the second question, I think you should go for the V10. If the V99 would have the same price as the V10, it's advantage would be a bigger steering wheel. However, the V10 has slightly better pedals and you can swap the wheel anyway.

Yes, it works with Assetto Corsa. Sadly, you can't adjust the stiffness of the pedals :(
Hello I have a question, are the pedals at the back of the wheel nice or are they like the v10 wheel pedals?
The paddle shifters are slightly better and they don't touch your fingers anymore :)

How realistic are the resistance on the V99 pedals compared to a real car pedal? Can i use it to learn driving with City Car Driving?
The pedals aren't as stiff as a real car but the strength between the clutch, brake, and accelerator pedals are distinguishable. And yes, the V99 is compatible with City Car Driving.

hey i heard that the pxn v10 has not that good of a ffb because there is no vibrations and is a mad catz clone (made 11 years ago) and i also heard that the pxn v99 is the same except for wheel and pedals do you feel any more immersion than the pxn v10 and if so what about the g29?
The PXN V99 has vibrations for sure, it's force feedback also feels less clunky compared to the V10. The gears aren't as noisy as the G29, so that helps a bit with immersion.

Best Force Feedback
1. Thrustmaster T150
2. PXN V99
3. PXN V10
If you have a couple dollars to sacrifice, go for the Thrustmaster T150. It is belt-drivrn and has more mod support. If you wanna save a bit more money, go for the PXN V99. It's force feedback is better than the V10. It has a slightly bigger steering wheel compared to the V10 and T150.

It's not as stiff as the V10 pedals but it feels sturdier.

hey uh my pxn v99 isnt doing well my clutch stopped working but then i got to fix it but i cant get it to recognize my wheel moving only lighting any ideas? also i tried to unplug it as well it didnt work

Whats your Force feedback Settings?
I currently have all other forces set to 80% and the force feedback set to 100% in my FFB settings. I forgot to download the firmware during the video recording, which resulted in the FFB being quite weak 😅
Does the wheel center itself when the car is stationary? If so, can it be fixed with the app?
For me it doesn't, maybe you need to download the firmware.

RaceRoom Racing Experience and Live for Speed. It also works great with BeamNG and Assetto Corsa Competizione.

If you want to drive around, I would recommend the V99 because it is quieter and has a bigger steering wheel. The force feedback is also smoother :)

hey, hows the V99 holding up? also would you recommend this over the g923 and/or the T150/T248?
It's still holding up pretty well! I would recommend this over the three wheels you mentioned because it feels more realistic and doesn't make the grinding sound as much. It also has a clutch pedal and shifter included. It's the price that makes the PXN V99 the obvious choice.
@@kirk776 that sounds really compelling but honestly I’m still not fully sure, most reviews on PXN wheels are negative. Who knows maybe PXN changed their ways with the V99, Ty for the help. Also would you recommend it over the V10? Cuz in my country it’s like $10 cheaper so I can’t decide between the two
I would recommend the V99 because its force feedback feels better and isn't as clunky as the V10. I haven't had any issues with my wheel so far but I will update you guys :)

Go for the PXN V99, it has a bigger steering wheel, has dual clutch paddle shifters, and slightly more torque.

one more thing, do the brakes feel good, are they harder to push than the gas pedals?
As far as I know, there aren't any party wheels for this. The brake pedal is the hardest, followed by the clutch, and then the lightest, the gas pedal.

What are the differences between the V99 and V10 besides its wheel

I'm guessing you're talking about sequential mode, you have to buy the Z7 kit to convert the shifter into a sequential one. It is compatible for both the V10 and V99 shifters.

Are the paddle shifters further from the rim of the wheel compared to the V10? Since thats one of the main problems of the V10.

Yes, the paddle shifters are finally further from the wheel rim. They also don't touch my other fingers when I shift up or down. As for the pedals, I don't think you can adjust the stiffness. It also seems that the V10 has stiffer pedals.

Yes, the V99 is compatible with both Assetto Corsa and The Crew Motorfest on PS4. The V99 has better force feedback and is less noisy, while the V10 can have stiffer pedals :)

If the V99 is cheaper than the G29 in your country, then I think you should go for it. It has a bigger and detachable steering wheel.

It's not really better by a lot, it only has a slightly stronger torque which is 3.2nm. The pedals are plastic unlike the G29 which has metal pedals. It all comes down to personal preferences.

I haven't experienced any issues with the V99 I have right now, but I will update you if I do. I think it is the best value wheel in the market right now, especially for beginners. But if you want to sacrifice a bit more money, then I think you should get a G29 because it has more future-proofing and modding capabilities.
How loud is it compared to the g29
It makes a rattling sound, but it's not as loud as the G29.

The V99 steering wheel is slightly wider than the G29, but I feel like the G29 pedals are better. If you want to buy the V99, you can upgrade your pedals. If you want to buy the G29, you can use an aftermarket wheel mod.

@@CrackedMBThe quality of the material is plastic but the pedals seem to be stiffer and sturdier than the V10 pedals. There is also no significant decrease in FFB because the wheel isn't that heavy.
How is it for ATS ( American truck simulator) ?
I don't own the game, but I'm sure it works fine with American Truck Simulator :)

Yeah, the new Hori truck wheel is pretty cool! Though it's kinda expensive and I would expect it to have direct drive in the 700 dollar range..

The PXN V99 seems to have a more pronounced force feedback. It also has a bigger steering wheel. However, the PXN V10 pedals can be stiffer and have a bit of metal. Unfortunately, hindi po compatible sa macOS ang V10 or V99 :(

Yes, PXN fixed all the known issues from their PXN V10. I also heard that they will release an updated PXN V9 with force feedback!

Go for the V99. It's cheaper, has a bigger steering wheel, and it's newer. As far as I know, the wheel supports both games. However, it only works if you use the Microsoft Store version of FH4.
