1995 Honda Civic Troubleshooting Idle Issues

- When Mila and I got home from work we parked and very randomly my car started to idle up and down. I put little girl to work and we checked it out. We just wiped down the IAC valve and reset it and that did the trick. I will be going to make another video of cleaning the throttle body and the IAC Valve. I will more than likely have to replace the throttle body gasket. Just want to clear out any gunk and make sure she’s nice, clean, and sealed.
I love how he taps the gas and keeps showing the gauge cluster without a tach.
Smart daddy keeping his kid safe.
I have a vacuum leak I couldn't find. The idol was bouncing up and down, it was a rubber seal in between the brake master cylinder and the brake vacuum booster. When I press my brakes hard it idles fine, and when I take my foot off it bounces.
Thanks for the info.
Your baby is adorable.
Have the same issue
Replaced the iacv, worked fine then it happened again
I’ll try to disconnect and connect it after
(I’ll be adding silicon to the iacv for better coverage since there is a slight opening in mine causing it to idle really high
Do you reset iacv just by running the car for 60 seconds while the iacv is unplugged? Then plug her in and shes golden?
Had to do the same thing to Dads Nissan truck a couple months back! Let the girl take a nap - you would be tired also if you had to repair a IAC and Mickey Mouses nose all in the same day!
I have a issue for my 1995 eg seden i have low idle and it putters pretty mild, before the tube from my intake to the head was off and i Didnt know it was running perfectly fine need help thank you
I'm having the same issue. But, I actually replaced the IAC, reset everything by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes... And it didn't fix it.
It's gotta be a vacuum leak
Was it? Dont wanna buy an iac yet.
Honda is always crazy about idle issue
Always something dawg
Interesante profe boy practicalo
I have high idle what could be?
About 2.500rpm on idle
Clean your iacv. Also try unplugging it and adjusting your idle screw on your throttle body. If that doesn’t help look for any vacuum leaks. A helpful tip, get water and soap into a spray bottle and if there is a leak on any vacuum lines it should bubble up. Hope I helped.
She does not like the camera..... smart girl.😂
Positive feedbak
Mine started doing it after the manual swap and I thought it was an ecm thing
