Thanks for watching guys! Check the description for other turkey basic essentials, and good luck this spring 👊
Just getting into turkey hunting since last fall and this is some of the best advice ive seen on youtube. Thank you.
My pleasure thanks for watching!
This is probably the best video I have seen on scouting for Turkeys.
Thanks for the kinds words and good luck this season 🤘
Very informative! I got cocky killing a bird in each of my first 2 seasons and I realized very quickly my scouting is subpar! This video helps a lot.
Thanks for watching! I’ve been lazy this year and need to go do some scouting myself 😂
Awesome video!
Thank you.
@@larryemery9338 your welcome
That illustration of a strut zone was helpful man
Thank you for making such an informative video on turkeys, I’m new to turkey hunting and was starting to think that these turkeys have a circle or pattern that they travel every day, I’m subscribing great channel buddy.
Thanks for watching! Hope you smack a big one!
Wanted to say thanks for posting this video. Going this spring as a first timer and your videos are very informative.
Thanks for the kind words and good luck out there 🤘
I’ve watched countless videos from major hunting personalities/channels. You managed to boil everything down to a 15 minute video of phenomenal knowledge. Everything that was grey to me makes so much sense now! Thanks, and keep up the good work!
Thanks for watching! I am lucky enough to be friends with a lot of turkey hunters better than myself 🤘
I second that very helpful video even a year later 🦃
Very good tutorial..I’ve been hunting turkeys 28yrs..80% of the toms were NOT over water..maybe it was just how things were in the area that became gold standard
Could be, with wild animals nothing can ever be certain and that’s what makes it fun!
Really appreciate your help... I hunt public and am looking forward to using the info. Thanks man
Thanks for watching and good luck this spring🤘
Great video man! Subscribed
Thank you brother!
This was superrr helpful. Thanks!
Hope it helps! Good luck in the woods!
Great video appreciate the info man
My pleasure good luck this season!
Very good video!
Thank you sir!
This was so helpful. I'm recently retired (Dec 2022), been interested in turkey hunting my whole life, but have never had time - until now. That said, I am a 67 yr old novice. Sure would like to talk and learn all I can. How can I get in touch? Blessings!!
Easiest way is to ask them questions on here! Good luck this season 🤘
I'm out here in western montana and have found tons of wild turkeys not far from where I live, the problem is that 99% of the areas that I've seen the turkeys are on private land (cow pastures and feilds). Above the areas I've seen turkeys is national forest. I guess what I'm asking is how much does elevation affect the turkeys. Would I have a decent chance if I got to the national forest above these fields and hunted there?
I would think that after the initial fly down and strutting that they would work back into the timber and especially at night when the go to roost
@@manvsdeer awesome. Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully I'll get a nice gobbler this upcoming spring season.

Hi there, does onX maps work in Canada (Ontario) as well ? Thanks
I am not sure about that one…. You may have to download it and see the basic version is free!
that side of the head camera angle was gorilla.
So will they often roost in the same tree?
Not sure about the same tree but they will roost in the same area for sure
Got the same hat great video alot of information in a short period of time thanks great video
Hope you have a great season and thanks for watching!
Great info on scouting turkeys. Thanks!
Very welcome hope it helps!
Great video! Weird question, what owl call were you using at the beginning of the video. Thanks
It’s an old cheap primos call, not sure on the exact model I’ve had it so long 😂
I’m new to turkey hunting and this is one of the best videos I’ve seen!
Thanks brother be sure to check out some of the turkey hunts they are packed with info as well
Great information! Keep the videos coming.
Thank you! I’m putting them out as fast as I can edit them😂
A little late to the channel but great information. Thanks
Thanks for watching! Always good to prep for next season
How many visits do you usually need to make?
Depends on the area and what’s around. If I find birds sometimes once is enough if it’s a quiet morning or a big area I may go back several times
Thank you for taking the time to share this information with us! Looking to go turkey hunting for the first time on public land in the spring!
Do it and keep after it, you’ll get hooked!
Thanks, this was fantastic. 👍🏼
Thanks for watching! Now go smack a big one this spring 🤘
