I got this laptop due to the pandemic to work from home and to go back to school (online). So far, I love it. It's fast, lightweight, very responsive and even though it's a 14 inch, I type comfortably after using a 15".

I got mine in september. I honestly love it soo much. It's perfect for online classes and for light games and entertainmaint. And my processor isn't loud at all so if you need a good and affordable laptop this one is deffo a good option ❤💻

This is a good laptop for college students. I got mine in 2017 as a gift for college and have been using it ever since. I just ordered a new battery to swap the old one out though because it will die if it’s off the charger for 10 minutes but besides that it’s a pretty good laptop.

Is this good for medical school in need to know ASAP
Did anyone else screen pop out? On the left bottom side of the screen. I had one on these laptops and the screen on the left bottom popped out and cracked the screen. I can't close it, therefore, I had to buy another one because I really like the laptop. After about 1 year of using the new one that I bought, I have started to notice that the screen is starting to pop up again on the same side. I am looking for solutions on youtube, but there is nothing that can help me. I don't know if it is just me or if there are others having the same issue.

... it's overkill for that. You can go for something much cheaper if that's all you want to do. Even if you have Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Google Chrome, and Spotify all open at once, you won't have any problem. 8GB RAM and 8 threads are more than enough for that.
Its not that good for doing a lot of multitasking unfortunately.

@lark I love it! It’s amazing it’s fast the touch screen is great, when I’m playing roblox or using the laptop for too long it overheats a bit and makes a sound but it isn’t too bad the battery life is a little short but it is a great laptop

I have the new hpnoavilloanc360 and I like it this is my second laptop purchased I had and still have the old hpnpavilloa c360 2015 and it got me through a lot for a decent good year now the battery is dead and laggin speakers so everything needs a good fix and the new one is lagging speakers and my old one is still louder than the new one so Jp should of stepped up their game on better speakers.

I play roblox on mine, but what I don’t like is that it get hot really fast. But the cooling fan helps with that.
The features are pretty good. It has a fingerprint scanner, a backlit keyboard, can fold into a tablet, and it’s touchscreen.

I got it to stay on 7.5 hrs so far by undervolting.. Was giving me 5 hrs before.

@@DazzlingPotatoes Through Intels extreme tuning utility, you can lower the amount of power going to the processor, reducing thermals and power consumption.
There are quite a few video's on TH-cam explaining the topic, I'd recommend watching a few of them, before trying it out yourself.
You should find results when searching for "undervolting laptop cpu" .
I particularly liked "Dave Lee"'s video on the subject, called "$12 Hack to Boost your laptop performance!", where he shows undervolting at 0:52 in the video.
I owned an HP x360 in the past and I find it curious that nobody has an issue with the color scheme of the keyboard, mine in that time was white letters on silver keys and in certain light conditions the letters were almost invisible and even the backlit keyboard didn't help...
A lot of techies probably don't really need to look at the keys much while typing, so they might not notice stuff like that as much or nearly as quickly. Excluding that though, what did you think of the x360? I'm debating buying a nearly maxed out version of it right now haha.
@@Phenrex i had an older model 3 years ago. It was a great computer but this year im looking at Lenovo S740 or a C940 i think they are better. At least the screen. And i don't need the 360 functionality
@@CodeXploit I am constantly shifting just because there is so freaking much mixed feedback between people. Some people say the screen of a computer is great others say it sucks it's a mess. I'm currently looking at the Flex 14 and C930, though I've looked at dozens of computers and will probably change what I'm looking at again within the next three hours.

Yeah, mine has that same keyboard setup. It's not really that big of a deal to me though, you can just buy a cool cheap keyboard cover if it's a problem. I love it! It's a 2020 version and the resolution is gorgeous! I would recommend.

It's a Kensington lock
You can actually lock it with a wire , so that it's not stolen!

I bought one last year, Core i3 and I hate it. It is so slow. To paint a picture, I usually have a chrome open, 1 excel file open, 1 pdf file open, and 1 word file open. Am i doing something wrong?
It’s an i3 processor it’s slower. Maybe think about upgrading to the i7 processor
I3 is being phased out as well. My college has a minimum requirement of i5

Got mine due to the Pandemic. Mine's got an 8th gen i7 with an NVIDIA graphics processor and it works flawlessly. The only thing I would like to be improved would be the battery. After getting it out of the box it ran 10 hours easily and now it only runs for an hour before needing to plug it in. Other than that it's an amazing laptop!

No.. it will run, but it won't be playable. I can barely play old NFS games like NFS Rivals from 6 years ago, so it's safe to say it won't be able to run Warzone properly

Depends on what you're looking for. i3 is more than capable for carrying out everyday ms office and internet tasks. And even some light gaming. If you're a programmer who need to work with Java etc, go for i5. If you need it for photo video, editing, rendering, then go for i7
I got the i3 10th gen and 4gb ram, many people would downright say that this configuration is going to be slow, however, it has been snappy from day 1 and I've not experienced any slowdown.
I only use it for law school related work tho, pdfs, ms word and powerpoint and web surfing and music.

@@ANDREW-cc4wg It's still going very smooth, and I used to get 5-6 hours battery and I made a few tweaks and undervolting, now I even get 8-10 hours with same snappy performance for my required workload. However, I bought it back in January and right now there are a lot of options with the new 4th gen AMD Ryzen cpu available. These are a lot more powerful than intel laptops and cheaper too. You might want to look into them before you buy, but to answer your question, yes it works just like new for me.

@@Iris-jv3ci hp really disappointed me with this one, the computer lags a lot, like a lot, to a point that its frustrating, the touch is another problem, while using your stylus the screen easily gets confused and starts lagging when u switch from ur finger to the pen, or from the touchpad to the screen. If you want to go for a touchscreen laptop go for the microsoft surface laptops instead, or the lenovo yoga

Yes, it runs games like the sims, minecraft, roblox etc well. It may not be able to handle other things open in the background if you don't have the i7 (:
