i just got this laptop, and thanks for clarifying about the lack of backlit keyboard on this model. i bought mine off walmart's website and they said it has a backlit keyboard but i was looking thru windows settings all night and didn't see anything. but now i know.

The Type C port, you said we can charge through it... That mean we can use an external battery, abd if so how many watts?

U can charge through type c port or charging port so you have multiple charging option,
4g lte simcard slot, big trackpad, WiFi 6 option,
power button position,
Does it come with the pen?
How many hours doses the battery last? Using the laptop for office and watching videos
I think about 8-10.5 hours, sources do vary a bit on this one

I wanted to get this laptop with i7 and 16 GB ram for heavy usage of Adobe photoshop , illustrator, corel draw. Me being a design student my usage will be heavy. Would it be the right option?
Definitely not. if u want a laptop for adobe photoshop you want a display with 100% srgb and an above 90% or 100% adobe rgb plus it should have a P3 colour gamit .
macbook pro 13 inch is a nice option
or just look for something which has a nice display plus good performance

Yes. I have the laptop and the pen. There is a very little amount of latency and hand rejection works really fine.

Is it good for streaming?
If your talking about game streaming then definitely not if it's also running them at the same time. For just streaming video sources most modern day laptops would be fine.

They don't have one at the moment but they do have an Envy that I reviewed recently that's very nice.

I have this laptop, but to use microsoft office I have to pay for it, it suck $99.00 for a year heck no. I wish I had know before buying it, now I regret it so much.
I would buy it but I don't have that much money soon I'll have around 350 dollars
But I am going to save for the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 it has a Intel i3 1005g1 and 8 gb ram and 248gb data 3 sad or m.2 idk
I'll be using it for TH-cam creating and light to medium gaming

Double Time no offence but I doubt that i3 laptop will handle video editing and gaming well.
Double Time I would look for AMD processor if you want to do that stuff at a budget. It would perform much better.
