Original clip was 7 seconds long shot at 120 fps but I slowed it down to 60 fps since Niko's animations were too fast and I didn't want to rerender. :)

By vfx I thought he would walk out of the window into a 3d rendered mod blended with live footage. But this is also really cool.

Masking took 12 hours, Modeling took probably 8-10 hours, Animation took 5 hours, rendering took 3 hours(not including pre renders), error management took 1 hours, and recording took 7 seconds.

this goes extremely hard! but why didn't u just put the rendered video on the screen as it played instead of compositing? wouldn't that eliminate the need to roto out your hand? but damn that's a nice scene tho!
Thanks! The reason I used compositing was because I had motion tracking. Looking back, it probably would've been better to do as you said, but I was looking to learn new things as I made the video :)
