This and ZERO commercials during the race is EXACTLY what IndyCar needs to grow in popularity.
Edit: They will make more money when they put in more effort. Videos like this are a big step in the right direction.

Why aren't you watching Moto3 then? There you have a top 10 which constantly changes every single lap. Last race in Austria the top 4 was within a tenth of a second.
Isn't it obvious that the more you allow for vehicle differentiation the the less bunched up the field will be? You can't have a cake and eat it. If you wanna see creative engineering solutions being developed week in and week out, then you won't have much wheel to wheel battles, just a few crucial ones, but they are more meaningful. It's a trade off.
Which is why I follow F1, Indycar and Moto3, for very different types of excitement.

I'm also F1 fan from 15 years or so, but I have to totally agree with pure sport competition level. In indycar it's highest of all single seaters.
Also the way that broadcast is done, camera placing on track, angles, way better than what F1 is doing.

Y’all should do your Race Highlights like how y’all do practice highlights instead of just 5-minute race highlights.

They have 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes and even race compacts sometimes, and are constantly publishing full classic races. You just need to wait a bit more because the 30 minutes race highlights take more time to be ready. Then don't watch the short one they release quickly and wait for the "extended highlights" that they publish on their chennel (not the one from nbc, which is good, but 15 minutes only)

So, why don't they pave that section in the curve? Somebody will probably stay out of that crater...and be a bit slower...but end up having a car left to finish, or maybe even win the race. Just seems a shame for all the engineering it takes to get the cars running at peak performance to have them plowing through a ditch every lap.

it’s like u can only be 🍀lucky in f1 if ur team gives u a strong car
unlike in indycar, every1 must put out their 100% skills to the table
like imagine a rlly talented driver who graduated from f2 as an f2 champion (all cars r the same in f2) & a potential to be an f1 champion, to f1 & the team he/she went to gives an underdeveloped car which will only bring that driver to p15-p20/20 all the time
