It is a magical live show. Love Susan so much, as everyone should. Wait until you hear Derek go off, listen to the backup singers...the whole band is top of the line.
I just saw them live for the first time last week and was blown away. It was outdoors on the shore of Lake Michigan and couldn't have been the most perfect evening. I first heard Susan Tedeschi on the radio in the early 2000's and have wanted to see them live ever since.
" Blew the doors off. There's no bloody barn left !" Just a masterpiece bringing blues into the 21 century and making it relevant. Derek Trucks is a Master of Blues slide guitar in his own right. More Tedeschi Trucks band is a great idea. Looking forward to more.

Susan doesn't get to show her chops that much but when she does, omg, there are versions of this song where Derek literally holds his hands in the air cause it's all her
Supperb band that covers music that picks you up and carries you away. I think the best feature of the band they all have their role both big and small The main focus produce great music. getting looks at various points in the song they are happy enjoying the ride.
When it comes to this band.... Midnight in Harlem is a signature song and the live version from Crossroads is excellent. You'll get to hear Derek Trucks as a guitarist.

Just found you guys and really enjoy your reactions. TTB is truly one of the best bands around. They are ABB with backup singers and a horn section. If you want to do another, I can highly recommend Leavin’ Trunk. They recorded the rehearsal backstage at the Beacon with Taj Mahal teaching them his song.

I just love how Derek and Susan look at each other. They are so totally in sync as people, musicians, and partners. Derek rightly gets the notice for his guitar playing but Susan can hold her own with anyone.
Derek Trucks is often hailed as the greatest slide guitar player today. Check out "Key To The Highway". There's one amazing version from The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville from 2020-02-29.

I'm reading the comments and NO ONE mentions that DEREK TRUCKS was in the ALLMAN BROTHERS along with his Uncle! Then there are several members of AB who joined TTB when they were starting out. That said check out SUSAN TEDESCHI's solo career as well.

I don't think Warren Haynes used 2 drummers though he was also in AB before he went to Government Mule and then solo. They kept the works of the legendary Duane Allman and Dicky Betts alive. On the Tube they do a rendition of Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing featuring slow hand Eric Clapton. Maybe not for this channel but certainly for the lovers of high level easy guitaring a must. Something completely different: Like the Allman Brothers and Tedeschi Trucks Band, Genesis too used two drummers for a while. But I liked the years with one drummer more: Phil behind the kit and Peter in front, wow! Just wanted this off my chest...er Thompson, heheh, just remembered Genesis second drummer who did some good stuff for Zappa and Weather Report....And I almost forgot King Crimsons Bill Bruford. He did the double drums with Collins too or did he not? Never mind.

Check out "Mule" from their first album in '96 or "Bring on the Music" from a couple of years ago. Derek Trucks and Warren were magic together in the last version of the Allman Brothers

Guys! Congratulations on discovering Tedeschi Trucks Band. As awesome as this clip is, it’s missing on of those mind blowing soul searing Derek Trucks solos. You really should do yourself a favor and find a clip where Derek opens up and shows why BB King called him “about the best I’ve ever heard.” Most people will suggest Midnight In Harlem with good reason, but I’m a fan of Keep On Growing.

Tuh-des-KEE Trucks Band. Love them. I am tempted to live out of my car and just follow them around on tour. Trucks also toured with Clapton. Recommended -- Midnight in Harlem, Part of Me, Leavin' Trunk, Keep on Growing. Thanks for doing this. This is one song where Susan really shines. BTW, Rolling Stone rated Susan as one of the top women guitarists of all time.

The only problem with this amazing performance was the lack of Derek soloing too. As a first listen for you guys I only wish you’d heard him too but otherwise, what’s not to love?!? Lol Also, they don’t have bad nights. They’re the real deal in their relationship too. Their love reminds me of June Carter n Johnny Cash. I’d bet anything they’ll stay together and play together for life ☺️
You guys are not the udder shit but Rick Fairman is the real shit with this wonderful suggestion. This band is considered by many to be the best band out there. Their signature song it's midnight in Harlem and there are many videos of that. They change the song around quite often but every version is really very good. It is mid morning when I usually see your videos here are a few observations. Notice that they were no pyrotechnics laser light beams stage props with this song just pure music. I am not surprised did there are so few comments except for some regulars I guess I hope and I believe you'll get a few more I guess the Nightwish army and the Aussie folk pretty much skip over this which I figured they would.

Her voice is magnificant and for me there is not one song on the Album I would Skip. She also wrote a very moving song A Letter to God She moved to the studio to word on the recording aspec of recording and worked with Jewel Gwen Stefani Alica Keys Melissa Etheridge Hopefully you have a cancellation And you can sneak What's Up o your place and choose basically any other song as the bonus cut Hope you both had great vacations!!!!Cheers

Teskeys are great (for keeping your beers cold) but they are more soul than blues.
Check out Elizabeth Lea, the trombone player. She really gets into her playing in a big way! I love watching her.
