The BMW 1M conversion is progressing quite well, Jonathan, I agree with changing the bulbs of halos to white to give a uniform look to the colour output.
Something I would recommend is replacing the amber turn signal bulbs with some Amber LED’s one. Gets rid of the orange yolk look and is obviously way brighter!
What led should I get if I want to have a code free Led conversion ? Pre-LCI E82 btw I wanna swap everything with leds. The Fog lights, turn signals, Lux H8's, etc.
@@Zinbou1 I believe I got iJDMTOY from Amazon. No codes. Just a flicker for a few seconds at start up. Did front turn signals and rear turn signals. No issues for approx. 5 years of use.
I recently did this swap after an accident broke my left headlight and bracket. FYI for those replacing broken lights: FCP Euro sells headlight hardware replacement kids with the headlight bracket and replacement hardware all in one for pretty cheap rather than finding all the little part numbers themselves.
Picked up an E60 M5 early this year and initially didn't like the OEM rings but you're spot on - I love the look, it's time period specific. If you do go the whiter route, I've heard LUX H8 are decent - just found out they offer amber/gold as well. Love your builds man.

I'm thinking of getting HID Xenon headlights that aren't adaptive self leveling even though the ones on my 135i come with the adaptive self leveling ones. I like the look of the clear turn signal markers as opposed to the amber ones. What would the process be of coding out any codes if there are any after installation of the non adaptive headlights?
This would look great with the American Panda black BMW badges, ive noticed they havent been in stock for many months tho... Which sucks as i want them on my F30 lol.

I would code out the sidemarkers so that the yellow side bulbs aren't always on

Earlier headlights were adaptive, no coding required
question. do you need to get actual 1m headlights to fit the 1m headlight brackets or are the 1m and 135i headlights the same?
135lci and 1m headlights are same. Any 135 headlights will fit 1m headlight bracket.
