    Thank you for this! I’ve seen many retrofit videos on the e92 but not for the e82 yet (wasn’t sure if the assembly was the same steps)! This is gonna save me so much money, and this is a very detailed instructional video as well. Keep the vids coming

      You’re very welcome! That was my intention, as when I went to make this mod myself, I also only found e92 videos (which is a very different setup). Hopefully, the detailed DIY steps can save everyone money and allow more owners to have these awesome Bavgruppe custom angel eyes

    This is the first vid of yours I've seen, and I am doing an M conversion to my 09' E82 and while this vid was informative, in future I'd like to see more of the actual work being done. You explain a step then cut to it done, where as there are always lessons to be learned while watching the actual work. Even if its fast forwarded with GoPro footage on a tripod pointed at you working it tends to show difficult, or problem bits that we should look out for, when we do it. That's all, otherwise great vid, and thanks.

      @ElliottBrooks  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the feedback. If you watch my other more recent videos - that’s what I mostly do. This video was extremely hard to film while figuring it out at the same time so there was a lot of trial and error behind the scenes (as there were no instructions for me!)

    • @ElliottBrooks
      @ElliottBrooks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So the difference between E88, E87, E82 and E81 is body shape. The two main turbo engines you will find in 135i are the N54 and N55. Mine is an N54 - which can generally handle more power, but probably less reliable. N55 is a little more reliable but will blow up if you push it too hard

    Did you have to code in the LED Eye brows to the FRM Module?

    • @ElliottBrooks
      @ElliottBrooks  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No coding required. The only coding I have done since is that the eyebrows aren’t detected as a indicator bulb when the headlights aren’t on for some reason (I deleted the old indicators which may be why) - so I coded the indicator bulb check out to stop this. This is essential but stops the fast blink. The other workaround is to flick your lights to DRL only mode when it’s daytime
