@@gamernatemoore8029 I fly a Airbus A380 but I own a Piper PA-46, that's basically all at the moment.
@@acepilot7574 how hard is it to learn to fly? I'm starting off in the world with a 1993 stickshift truck, the reason I bring this up is because I almost blew the engine multiple times learning but now I'm so used to it its harder to drive and auto. So does it grow on you or is it always stressful?
I wanna see him do lazy 8s and crazy 8s in a 737. I never got to try that in the simulator pod.
@@gamernatemoore8029 Flying can be stressful but it also depends on many factors. Like the schedule, whether you have passengers or freight, and how new your aircraft is. If he's flying the A380 then that isn't the easiest plane on earth to fly. I've never flown one but its size can make it difficult.
I live an hour train ride outside south of Tokyo and an hour drive north of Mt Fuji. On clear day I can see her in all her glory. It was awesome to see it in MSFS. And no you can not see down into the volcano. Great video!
Well Drae, you just made me sign up for real flight simulator training at my local airfield. Only 300 pesos an hour. I could get 10 hours in for the price of the game and the joystick and controllers etc.

it is actually a good idea only issue they would have to build all the internal parts for the planes atm the jets dont even have a passanger cabin

I played FS2004 and X long time ago and it's great to see this one. More than Flight sims it is also *the* game deserving the "open world" name the most. It's literally a world exploration simulator

Fly through the Grand Canyon in a fast jet. I always loved doing that in older flight simulators. This more modern one should be a lot of fun
Been flying since flight simulator 2004 and X, and I am so excited to buy this simulator cause it's been more that 10 years and it look super good

Just got the premium edition. Went to TH-cam and saw this! Drae is definitely one of my favorites!
My favorite part of Flight Simulator was to give myself the most room on the runway and go full throttle. Just max speed the take off and when I finally pull up go straight up until I stall. I have done some work on biplanes in part with my stunt career, but my specialty is motorcycles so forgive me if I'm mistaken on anything. The physics in this game are so good, I believe a person could get some practical knowledge of how to fly a plane. With that said, it's about as likely to learn to fly a plane based on playing this game as it would be learning how to drift from GTA5.
I'm gonna turn down the engine... Next frame he's doing nearly twice the speed.

Fly the length of the grand canyon, fly under/through the golden gate bridge and london bridge, and land on top of a famous building like Buckingham Palace or the White House
Le Bourget is just a town where there’s an airport, it’s also where my school was when I was a kid, funny to see this 15 years later in a youtube video

I was watching a video on this the other day. Apparently London is a little screwed up. Most the bridges are underwater and Buckingham Palace (which you would think is a major landmark) is replaced with blocks of flats. Lol

Drae, I used to live in a tiny little town in central Washington and I know it was in the previous version on Microsoft Flight Sim. Could you go there and fly around? Maybe try to land a seaplane on the lake? It's Lake Chelan, Washington.
I think the tradition is to fly under the Eiffel Tower then under the Arc de Triumph. Probably a lot easier if you are doing it with a Neiuport 17 though - slower with short wings.
That moment where you try crashing into your house in the game and you hear a airplane coming straight to your house.

That's "pay attention", I would say it's more like "prenez garde".
Tommy Crosby nope “prenez garde” has a different feeling, in French “faites attention” is more suitable for quick emergencies, generally we just say “attention”, which could be translated as “warning”.
“Prenez garde” would be “beware of something/someone”, it’s a more sophisticated way to speak
Technically they are both correct but if you want to be more precise you need to get these fine differences that make the charm and the difficulty of the French language

If you maintain 110 knots with flaps up the Cessna Caravan will climb a bit better. You can also use Flaps 10 and climb out at 80 knots for a better climb. Speed is your friend in aviation.

Drae, I took French 1 last year and my French teacher said that all buildings in Paris are no larger than 7 stories tall(except for 1) and it is a law (or used to be) because it was before elevators were a thing and nobody wanted to go up more than 7 floors. P.S. the tallest building in Paris is like 14 or 22 stories tall, I forgot

Go try to land in the Grand Canyon, and nearby is a mountain taller than Fuji that is an extinct volcano (Humprhey's Peak)

Mt Fuji actually last erupted in 1707, in what was known as the Hōei eruption
Someone needs to mix this with geoguesser and use googlemaps data 3d rendered buildings, environment etc, with overlayed weather/airport data. That I would enjoy immensely, flying around the world as if you were there, or trying to figure out where you are in some sort of guessing game. Good luck on guessing some of the ice shelves around the world from each other without any info, that'd probably be hard mode guessing between Northern Canada to Antarctica to anywhere in the arctic circle (apart from solar/celestial positioning).
