@@victorrodriguez4081 Nope, it's good for beginners that's all, it won't help you get a job. All jobs require you to have relevant work experience, so spend time on gaining experience instead of getting useless certificates that employers don't care about.
Working as a project manager in a global biotech company in Japan, I've learned that managing stakeholders here needs a personal touch. It’s more than sending emails or quick updates; it’s about being in the room, face-to-face, making sure every strategy detail is understood. For some remote team members, online meetings work fine, but with key stakeholders, direct conversations are essential. Each one-on-one meeting adds another piece to the puzzle-crucial for keeping everyone aligned and moving forward together.
@@CostcoSamurai great point! the puzzle metaphor is really interesting. always tailor your approach. it’s important to get a sense of who your stakeholders are and identify what’s important to them.

@@raymondwright7757 I have been in project management but in the capacity of an assistant, not taking any major roles. Like a PM or any major ones. It’s actually being assigned roles in PM that got me interested in it and I gained 5 years of experience.
@@raymondwright7757you do still require experience. The thing is, there are tons of applied experience that aren't done under the title of "project manager" that still apply the practice and rack up the experience.
I am glad to see your experience as a project manager is based on reality. There was another project manager on TH-cam stating he finished work at 5PM and didn't look at emails before starting work. I found that to be truly unrealistic. As far as the demo goes, I would like to think you ran through it yesterday and not waiting until half an hour prior to make sure everything is okay.
I try to keep my content as insightful/realistic as I can. Per the demo, my teams and I had spent over a week prior preparing and making adjustments. It's important to know that videos are just snapshots of movies. They certainly don't showcase all the preparation and hard work that goes into making projects a success.
@@themaxmao Let people know that. Your video is very good, but you also have to let people know it's not a walk in the park. Keep up the good work. Don't mind me. I realize you have to save time in your presentation, otherwise people may loose interest. Keep up the good work.
Great video! Can you give some recommendations to people who want to work as a project manager? What characteristics a person should have in order to be a good PM? Maybe you can recommend some courses for beginners?
Glad you enjoyed the video! Will plan to make a future video on how to break into PM! I made a 5 part series breaking down project management - feel free to check those videos out!
