Battery acid damage to the scorpion 4 board,v3ry common for the battery to leak. Either a board repair or replacement then get the battery fly wired away from the board
@CHQArcade I had the same machine and ended up smashing it up,I've just hot a coronation street machine and was stuck in boot up,had a board repair and fly wired,fitted a notey and it's up and running might keep it or sell it on
Finally got in to the machine now to see if we can get it working

yup, that exactly what it was. New board was installed and she works great since then

@@MrGrantgibbs not sure yet if I'll sell mine on, if I do I'd want to swap the coin mech first so it takes the new £1 coins
