Switzerland is so amazing! We absolutely loved Lucerne! We only had a few hours there, but it was such a great city! Did you not love the Alps?!?! We spent 10 days in the Lauterbrunnen Valley and visited all the surrounding area. Your video makes me want to go back!
Hi! Im planning a trip to Switzerland and can only allot one night’s stay in Lauterbrunnen. Do you think it’s enough time to enjoy Schilthorn, Murren, and Gimmelwald? Is going up the Schilthorn comparable to Jungfraujoch?
One of my fav. places! Visit Interlaken next time, stay in Lauterbrunnen (it's Tolkien's Rivendell, BTW), and I also recommend trains instead of driving: faster, go everywhere, much more comfortable. Just get the HalfFare pass (aka. HalbTax), it gives you 50% off everything for a month: trains, buses, funiculars, cable cars, boats, etc. It costs 120 CHF so it pays for itself _very_ fast. Last but not least: go on a tandem paraglider ride :-)
Switzerland is one of the most beautiful countries on this planet! And those funiculars are awesome. I just got back from Europe and now I want to go again!!! I took the funicular in Lugano up to San Salvatore. It was absolutely stunning, you had a view of three lakes!
Omg how awesome, I've watched several of your videos tonight and I'm so happy you guys decided to visit Luzern and mount Titlis, I live 15 minutes away, mount Titlis is one of the most beautiful places in the Alps!

I did the same trip up to Mt Titlis about 4 years ago. Those views are breathtaking, quite literally for me as my asthma didn’t fare to well in the high altitude. I chickened out of walking across that suspension bridge so nice to experience it through you guys!
I remember spending 2 days camping just outside Lucerne when I was 17. It was August and the town looked so clean and beautiful. I was on a 3 week youth trip from the UK traveling through Europe. We drove into Switzerland over the St Gotthard Pass because in 1974 the road tunnel under the Alps wasn’t finished. It was a spectacular trip through the mountains and high raising in parts especially when the road was suspended over the mountain side on buttresses. I’d love to go back to Switzerland.
I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in Switzerland. For another visit I recommend Locarno and Ascona for a mediterranean flair, Berne with his beautiful old city Geneva and Lausanne to explore the shore line of the Lake Geneva.

A nicely made video. The train ride can give a glimpse of beautiful lake Lucerne as well, not sure if you had seen it on your way to Engelberg by the bus ride. Two thumbs up for the detailed footage guys, you rock!
Switzerland,expensive sure,but totally worth it. I didn't get to visit Zürich,because I was more around the french speaking part of the country,so I spent a few days in Lausanne to compensate. WORTH IT
We spent one week in Davos. It was absolutely gorgeous there and the hotel gave us train tickets to explore all the villages nearby for free! We also did day trips to Zürich, Liechtenstein and Italy! Definitely want to return to Switzerland!
