I never listen to people who say “just leave it alone “ . Baby animal needs help. ❤ Love anyone who helps them.

Regular people who "save" them are just delaying their demise. In nature the parents teach them how to hunt but unqualified saviours do not do that, they feed them from a stick then release them believing they have saved them and now they can go be wild. Wrong, they will die. What you do not see on the rehab channels is the way younglings are taught to hunt, using live food. They don't put that part on their channels because it would upset the softies, seeing live mice and other things used to teach the younglings how to hunt. Be it birds, foxes or any other carnivore, they absolutely have to be taught to hunt and kill, or they starve to death upon release.

So stinking adorable who wouldn’t want to help them return to nature as sad as it is to say goodbye it would be so gratifying 🤗🤗🤗🤗

I just love people that save the most unexpected animals and make them their pets. I have so much respect for these rare humans. ❤

I do too🩷. When I was young, 9 years old, I was an ‘outdoor girl’. Constantly outside in the backyard. I found a pair of fledgling Blue Jays on the ground. I remember getting a shoebox and filling it with grass to make them a soft place to lay. My sweet late Mom called the Fort Worth, Texas Zoo and asked what to feed these precious babies. You wouldn’t believe it, but they told Mother to feed them moist cat food !!
We bought the standard ‘Puss n Boots’ canned cat food back in the day, 1968. I raised those two babies into adulthood. It was an amazing experience! (I have a picture of myself with the two Blue Jays and it’s precious!). Wish I could show y’all the pic. 💕

Saving is fine so that they can be released into the wild, but wild animals should never be pets and it is illegal in most countries to keep wildlife without the correct carer’s license. Even then it is only temporary for the purpose of getting a wild animal. Well enough to be able to be moved to a sanctuary or released into the wild wild animals are not or ever should be pets.

Aww, I love owls, and used to have a neighbor that had a nesting pair of screech owls visit to have their babies every year. When it was time for them to fledge, he would invite us to watch. So happy these people were willing to help these babies through their most vulnerable time. Thank you for sharing, and Happy New Year!🎉🦉🦉💕👍

With their huge eyes and head always facing you, it must make you feel self-conscious. Is there a stain on my shirt? Do I have food caught in my teeth? Only someone as cute as these little owls can get away with STARING so much!

Very cute and they needed some nurturing of course. Owls are very lethal birds of prey who fly silently, and hunt at night. They need to learn to hunt pretty young to survive without parents. Maybe they’ll visit their humans again in the future

Don't pick up and take baby owls, they haven't been abandoned mum is watching and hoes hunting and comes back. Often young owls fledglings are learning to fly. They are not pets. Put them back where you found them !
