its a 3.5Kva continuous rating. 15 amps. the AC unit was using 5.8a or so, not sure on the grinder amp rating, its been re-wound to run harder than factory spec.
does that thing have a decompression lever? my small diesel does, it's impossible to pull it over without it. I'd sooner break the pull cord! you sure did give that generator a workout! great vid!
I tried to pull start my AEG 5kw diesel generator last week and I could not do it. Not sure what I was doing wrong. Pushed the pressure reduction knob down, pulled the rope. A few rotations and some smoke - no start. It started well from the electric start though. Am I just pulling it not hard enough?
nice gen set. Suprised that it took the load very well. How many kva is the generator if u know. The grinder plus air con. Maybe 3000watts? Thanks eug.
These newer style capacitor-type excitation generators do not seem to enjoy running motors in general, be it induction or brush type motors. Their high surge currents (especially during startup) really seem to mess with them. Older commutator type excitation generators seem to handle motors much better
bonjour, j'ai génératrice Bosch lombardini 6ld325 avec démarreur électrique 12v,mais il doit y avoir un alternateur pour la recharge de batterie le système de fonction.

great vid.. enjoyed the destruction of the compressor with the grinder! you should have had some metal playing in the background for effect
cool. nice gen-set. ids say with that a/c unit it was to cold for it to get had pressure up yesterday. because it has a minimum gas charge.
Startup of the AC and grinder did labor it a bit, but it seemed to handle it okay.
no decomp lever on this one, I just get the piston to TDC on comp stroke and the give it a heave. the flywheel mass makes it reasonable easy.
You did very well with that generator.
Awesome stuff mate!, Looks like it had a good run today.
Its a nice gen set that.
supposedly they do, but this genset isn't much use to me if it can't run power tools or other electric motors.
thanks 4 the info. Hope u r keeping the gen set:) Eug.

I had a bit of heavy metal, but that genset is so loud its pointless turning it up, the 9" alone drowns it out most times.
