@@GrandPOOBear GDQ is how I discovered you, and the narration talking about the level here has a similar vibe, but prerecorded lets you play a lot more with the editing and timing, and of course getting your lines right.

I feel like I understood the difficulty of Kaizo Mario enough to be extremely impressed by people beating the levels but the voice-over brought such a deeper appreciation to what it takes than I could have ever imagined. Stellar Video to all involved
No joke. You must be one of the best Mario players of all time. It's amazing how you can just brute force through an incredibly hard kaizo Mario using shear skill and commitment!
That's an overstatement, while he's very good he is not among the best ever.
As much as I prefer the old style videos where we could see the grind, you figuring out each part of the level piece by piece, etc, it's wild to see that nowadays you fit an entire playthrough of that length in a single video. That's one way to solve huge backlog. :D
This is a perfect video! Love the commentary and editing, and the nonstop, "WTF did I just see!?" action made it feel shorter than it was. Fun hack to watch. Wish I could like the video twice.
Love that the level with the shell time is called Shadar Logath, a reference to the fantasy series the Wheel of Time. It's the little things that can add up

Love the channel. I used to love how in the past, you'd include a "deathless" playthrough of the level at the end as a recap of what we'd all just seen, but I have to say that I quite enjoy the commentary to explain what's going on - it's always a joy to watch you play and discover these tricks, but to showcase them in this manner just adds so much and helps to understand the complexity and creativity of what these rom hack developers are creating... next level platforming here, man!
The whimsical commentary makes the viewer forget that they’re watching gameplay that maybe 1% of all gamers will ever be able to achieve. This is actual insanity

Incredible video, i passed the whole 40 minutes without noticing. Kept me entertained and on the edge of my seat with those impressive jumps. If you didn't had the voice over and all the explations i would've though everything was incredibly easy

Twitch is one I never use, but your explanations of each level are greatly appreciated. Especially with how crazy these kaizo levels are.
I really enjoyed the format and voiceover. The one thing I miss is that I can't share in the struggle and triumph of making progress and finally beating a level when each level only shows a couple attempts.

I like this format of watching one video of you completing a kaizo hack! I've watched older ones thru, but it does takes some time to see a level completed! Keep it up! (Btw ost for level Ultra Violence was Cossack stage 2 on megaman 4 some kind of remix). I recognize that tune anywhere.

Something about the voice over just made it for me. A ton of content was added with it and it was nice being able to watch the entire series in one sitting

Who the heck could ever downvote a video like this?! Also, loving the voiceover commentary for the move technicalities. Its been like a year since i've seen your videos. Did the new addition (new to me atleast)... marbles.
That use of layer 2 really appeals to me, and reminds me of some puzzle games like Perspective.
Any SMW content is great in my book. Personally though I prefer the standard videos with the grind included.
Same, hope this format does well for Poo but I much prefer the attempt videos leading up to a satisfying H or clear. By the looks of the comments we're in the big majority though, so RIP us 🤣

If I do find it interesting I’ll go back when I do have the time and go watch the Long VODS or multi stream of the game/content.
That how I found SmallAnt. One of his explanation type videos of a Pokémon randomizer challenge. Now I go back to find and watch all of his contact I find appealing. And find new content of his like Mario Odyssey multiplayer with you! Love those!

It's been a while since I watched one of your kaizo videos, I like the insights of the voiceover that's cool and new :) However I prefer when you show more of your painful deaths, I didn't get my fill of you figuring out parts of the levels :D
But I guess that makes sense since you squeezed so many hours in a single video !

Dreamcast did have a broadband option via adapter that replaced the 56k modem, it was very rare though. The adapter is saught after now and an expensive retro hardware piece.
really loved the editing of this video my only complaint was i do like hearing what poo has to say and there were a few moments where he was saying stuff while playing that we didnt get the full context for or a few times where it cuts away before he can finish his point, otherwise great video!

One thing I wanna comment on is the end of blue palace, with the backshot right, I think it's probably due to how you have to reverse your muscle memory, with a bit of how if you read something backwards you'll notice your mistakes more due to unfamiliarity with the work being backwards
