Thanks for the great review! Can you comment on the noise it makes- like does it make any rattling motor sounds or only white noise? Also how do the dB levels compare to the blue Air 211+ auto for comparable fan speeds? Had to return that Blueair because it gave off an odor from the carbon filter, does this one give off any odor?

Amazon shows the Levoit 600s to clean 3175 sq. ft?
If going away on vacation, and the home is going to be closed for a couple weeks, it would be nice to remotely start a few air purifiers running. Coway's Mighty ap-1512hh can't be started remotely, so I'm thinking:
Levoit Core 600s or Shark HP202 (the Shark HP302 generates ozone)
Kenmore SMART PM4030 / 2300e
Nuwave OxyPure ZERO 47251
The others are too pricey.. or they don't have wifi control.
Hi! The levoit 600s is much larger than the coway. I wouldn't go off their 60min refresh rate numbers.
On the low setting for me it sounds like a slight grinding noise. Is that normal? Doesn't happen on any other setting.
Great CADR to Cost ratio. But, only a two year warranty. Honeywell is five years.

Hi, I would go with the Levoit because of price and how much air it moves quietly. I just burnt some food by accident and had smoke all over my kitchen and living room. I used this, the coway,, winix 5500, and shark. The area with this levoit cleared the most air the fastest and removed the smoke odors very effectively. The coway has higher end filters you can purchase separately to target harmful chemicals but the levoit stock filter works better for smoke.
@@TheFrenchGlow I currently have the 300s which similar to the coway 400s, and I’m waiting now on my levoit 600s on its way, I was really shocked when I realized the coway doesn’t have the safety lock feature which is really important if you have kids ! Thanks a lot for your respond 👍🏼
I received the levoit 600s yesterday and i test it out in a bedroom maybe 250ft2 to 300ft2 and had it on sleep mood it was very quite and I definitely can feel and smell the clean air across the room and I have my coway 300s in the living room also on sleep mood , I woke up 4am felt like I have dry throat and dry nose so I immediately turned it off both unit and my wife says the same thing the first thing in the morning, So I’m wondering is that normal feelings since we’re first time using a purifier so my question is maybe it’s because a big purifier shouldn’t be placed in a small room ? I live in an apartment 900ft2 should 1 levoit 600s be enough for the whole apartment? I’m definitely keeping the levoit and returning the coway for the child safety lock!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 🙌🏼

Does this work for mold? I’ve seen no claims that it does from the company like on other air purifiers its usually on there box instruction manual or on description on web sites but I’ve not seen Levoit claimed it works for mold

does this work with pets?
Hi! Yes it does. Most of the difference between pet filters and normal filters is the pre-filter as the oem h13 filters all work well for pet dander. If you clean the outside of the filter regularly (weekly if you have big dogs) to remove the pet hair on your unit, it will be the same as a pet filter.
Have you replaced the filter yet? Obviously an OEM filter is always going to be best for the unit, but have you come across any 3rd party brands that are reliable for this unit, or for Levoit purifiers in general?
Hi! I normally only use the oem filters. For these larger units, the 3rd party versions that I have tried carbon filters have been lighter than oem.
