That house would be a nightmare for Emergency Services to access.
The resale value would be interesting.
I hate to be the one to say this but intruders can easily climb up the treadmill by simply wedging their feet along the sides. 😂 Someone didn’t think this through.
it was designed by collin furze as a workout device
Might be useful in a Zombie apocalypse situation.
*cuts the power on the side*
Now the burglars know how to defeat my security system
So you spend $1,000 a year and in extra electricity to keep that treadmill running all night long, for the one in 50,000+ chance you home may be burglarized.
2:15 No, it doesn't prevent buglers to come to the upper floor. The video itself shows a easy way, just step right and left beside the belt.
Good for them that on the thumbnail of the video is Colin :D That's why I clicked it :D
Pretty sure that one's just here for laughs, not ment to be serious. The control is at the bottom, they could just turn it off.
They didn’t cover this but stepping on the side panels will trigger the release of the swinging paint cans
Its not for security, this channel just stole a video colinfurze made in lockdown
It was designed as a joke to keep fit during quarantine :/
Would love to see @lockpickinglawyer videos on some of these lock/safety inventions. Wonder how secure they really are against a trained picker...
especially vaultvoult
They're not dumb enough to expose their products.
@@bazzuz it's freaking made by youtuber, it's not fricking security device I CAN NOT
That was the first thought I had. I think he actually had a similar product as the LifePod at 4:14, because I can remember the design. And as always, it provides vanishing little security when it comes to protect your belongings. In any case, that's all that I want to write now. If you do have any questions or comments about this, please put them below, and as always, have a nice day. Thank you.
Locks only keep honest people out.
Did anyone notice that with the rope ladder the narrator said "it can be deployed from any window or deck not more than six feet off the ground" while showing it being used from the second floor more than 10 feet up?
*You're 'posed to park your car or SUV under the window you intend to escape from and jump onto it's roof!*
I wonder if it was meant to be 6 metres
I am six-foot two, so can hang-drop at least six feet.
Here's an idea, instead of people having to constantly dish out for more safety and security, costing them a fortune and causing growing restrictions simply raise the penalties for criminals. Raise them a lot. Keep them in prison. Why is it that innocent hard working people always pay the price to be safe? Time to make the criminals pay a high price. Change the paradigm.
The door shield may work. My experience, and intruder got into the house by destroying the wood frame, so you have to have a cement block frame (Owings Mills, Maryland). Also, the window when I was in Atlanta Georgia, a man, during the day, (I nailed the window shut) , the man took the outside wooden frame off and slid the window out. He got his tutu.
So the controller of the treadmill is at the bottom of the stairs? Hmm so the criminal just has to switch it to off and walk up? Lol great plan
Yea as the video explains it wasn't made as a security device. It is more of a joke device for exercise. Colin is a youtuber that makes crazy inventions.
Nothing beats a dog and a well armed person.
Cause when a burglar comes in the middle of the night you're always ready with a gun in your hand ready to take him out. Also America... nuff said.
@@Tconl Better safe than sorry. And no I don't have gun in hand don't be silly.
@@UQRXD If you never gonna sleep and be patroling around the house with a gun... good luck. ;p
Also safe would be having no gun. See Australia vs America gun control/gun shootings.
A dog and TWO armed persons!
@@Tconlthat’s why you keep your gun in a nearby location you can easily reach if there is an intruder. And a dog can distract them long enough to grab it.
0:06 "This time we have a stair case even the toughest intruder can't climb"
*Shows video of someone easily climbing it*
Lol so true
@@VoidOnYTLol it was designed by collin furze as a workout device
@@fomingera65 we know
Probably added it as clickbait
I have an addition to the always home cam, if you attach a controlled bb gun to it that way you can defend your home not just watch
So far I only have one of the 5 up. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxOXxsTZ3ptV_Pk0fFl8bNZvVqeoqBQFwe My son ran out of time, with motion detector etc. I have it over my garage door. It works great. Have seen a couple of cats, my dogs, when I am out front. And had a bee buzzing around right in front of it. It works very well. It even shows the neighbour's driveway, but only shows movement just past my own, which is very long. I highly recommend them.
$250 Always Home Cam
Thief in commercial: "Oh no! I've spotted, so I'll run away now!'
Actual Thief: "Thanks, I always wanted one of these." *grabs $250 drone and runs
About that thread mill stairs, it looks that there is a lot of space that is not moving on the side. Very easy to get up. But as additional workout tool, that is a great idea.
it was designed by collin furze as a workout device
I was looking more at the fact the control box is at the BOTTOM.....
@@barral69 it was designed by collin furze as a workout device
Its a workout device, not a security device. Must be included here for comedy.
I love your channel, I watch you from a nursing home
Don't forget my personal favorite: the door alarm i bought at Dollar Tree that I jerry rigged with a tripwire. And motion detector lights.
And my dog that barks at things that even l can't hear. Or maybe he's just nuts.
Don't like the palm security. If someone want to get in and you don't let them they can just knock you out and drag your palm to the door
I think Target should look at the house design if they're gonna keep stores in SF or NYC or Chicago.
Target is a disgusting, evil satanic organization, period.
Lol, it's so easy to spot hicks
1:50 is that where the intruders cut off your hand from to use your scanner against you? 🤣
Won’t the veins be ‘dead’?
It takes time to hack off your hand. Most burglars want speed
Unless you have really good stuff, they aren’t going to bother
That's unlikely to happen... unless you're in Mexico. 🙂
I was thinking that the burglars just force you to use your hand by taking you hostage...but that implies they managed to get to you.
@agentmaryland1239 at that point it's not much different than being forced to use your key to unlock. I guess it would be helpful if you have a tendency to misplace things.
3:18 Looking at how American homes are built, just kick in the wall next to the door 🙂
5:20 The original Holland America Line headquarters in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
actually yes while you can amount a lot of homes interiors amount to really thick paper ie plasterboard the outer walls are often wired mesh and coated and even harder plasterboard. you might be surprised at how durable that actually is. source I've kicked and brocken my foot on these walls before.
Hey, Vsauce, Michael here!
Your home security is great!
Or is it?
*Vsauce theme plays*
In the world of COVID that hand palm reader wouldn't go over too well with some people.
It's actually quite sanitary. They use this for check-in at my local health clinic.
Palm ID next to a glass door? Meet my little friend. 🔨
Flying cam, first thing the thief steals.
A small safe, with a handle for the thief to carry it off?
I think the water barrier isn’t approved by my HOA. 😅
That door shield might have been $600 seven months ago in May when this was posted, but as of today 12/2/23 it is $1,500.
It must have proved itself a few times!
If I were an intruder, I'd be swatting the Ring Cam the minute I saw it flying around the house.
I'd wear a face mask.
@@PeterKnagge Good point.
It's a nifty idea though, brings us closer to star wars.
Use the drone with a Glock on it then.
Fill the intruder full of holes. Can't swat away lead.
@The Ancap nah, then you have a public liability
How much of a w@r zone does their country and the world have to be before Americans realise the solution isn't guns??
If you get all this stuff, maybe you can stay living in San Francisco or LA.
It's meant to slow the intruder down. I get it. Not many intruders are straddling the walls like that. Too much hassle.
Door shield, $600. Or you can just go to a hardware store and get some 2" bys and brackets for like $20.
The safe box is nice but you'd have to bolt it down or lock it in an immovable safe or they'll just take the box.
Yeah I was gonna say that thing is less than useless. Not only is it easily movable, if I were looking for high value items the first thing I'd do is look for a lock box like that. Take a dremel with a cutting disc and you can saw through the hinges in just a few seconds. So not only is it ineffective at protecting your valuables, it actively advertises their presence. You're literally better off shoving your old rings and necklaces and shit in the pocket of a worn out pair of jeans, folding that up, and sticking it at the bottom of your pants drawer.
I thought the same!
Not only that but they left the hinge exposed. Easy to get in.
also the annoyance of having to open it for the delivery guy each time they drop off a package
These are all really great ideas but what about the windows...? They can be broken too. I mean someone who really wants to get inside your house will..
Do I hear that correctly 7:51 that the ladder is for windows that are “not more than 6 feet off the ground”
So it only works for first (ground) floor windows.
0:11
Proceeds to climb it anyway.
it was designed by collin furze as a workout device
the problem with the ring drone is if someone's breaking in they will normally have a blunt object for breaking things like windows, one good downward or sideways swing with a baseball bat will shatter that almost 300$ piece of equipment... which seems like more trouble then it's worth.. (You're better off just setting up cameras)
Good point. But the cats would get exercise chasing it around
so you still would know that there's intrusion in your home?
@@emilyfeagin2673 LOL...i was like cool i want one then thought...wait it would be a giant and very expensive cat toy
It also gives Amazon and anyone that can hack them live footage of the interior of your home. Better hope you don’t have anything government or big tech elitists deem “problematic” or you might have your other services they provide revoked. Or worse.
Sure, give up your privacy for that useless security item that “lets you see what’s happening and do literally nothing to stop it”. An item made irrelevant by secure doors and windows, doorbell cams, alarms and police in case someone does break in.
The whole point is that you would be aware of the intruder without physically putting yourself in danger.
Thank you so much for your video.
I need that Purge home😂
That treadmill reminds me of the Eliminator on Gladiators! I think John Anderson's (or Mark Clatterburg's) whistle might be enough of a deterrent. Or the handbikes and cargo net.
that Always home cam, drone, first prototypr had to have been "weebo" in Flubber🤣
as a former combat engineer, this is right up my alley.
But I am failing to see why people are apprehensive when i pitch them low budget ideas to survive a shooting.
Please if you’re going to buy a strong door lock, consider also buying an stronger door
Perfect timing for the Purge/zombie apocalypse.
Your $600 door shield says $1500 at the link.
It must have proved itself a few times!
With the flooding thing i saw a city in the Netherlands where i went with a replica of a old ship
"Not more than 6 feet off the ground", or i could just lower myself holding on the same ledge until my feet hit the ground from that height. Even for a 5 foot person that's only a 1 foot drop.
And that's assuming the 5 ft person isn't hanging down by their arms
But if you have small kids definitely a help or multiple levels
@@fatonyalmitchell3281 that's true. I didn't think about that
@@whocares9033 Eitherway I have zero gripes 😁 im Also Learning but badd knee who jumping Not 🚫 me 🤣😭😂
I think writer confused 6ft with 6 meters
Someone is getting their hands cut off🤦🏻♂️🤣
i thought of that too
almost every one of these can be defeted by killibg the power
Or be hacked...
Talk about taking Security to the next level!
Lifepod..how many seconds will it last if I attack it with a battery grinder?
3:00 The robbers wouldn’t go in at the door, through the window!
Last one, what happens if you get home and you're phone's dead, lost, damaged? Would suck to get locked out of your own house.
It would be much easier, less expensive and more environmentally friendly to just feel your fears and release them. That would also be the best thing for your soul as well. Fear is just a feeling and we were made to feel it. When you feel afraid, breathe deeply from your diaphragm (tummy area) instead of just with your upper chest, allow yourself to shake, shiver and even throw up if you have to depending on how much fear you have. Once you release the fear about a particular issue (and it may take a few times to totally release it) then you will never have that fear again for the rest of your existence, so it’s well worth it. In fact if you choose not to feel your fear you are more likely to attract fearful events to you. So I encourage you to remember that fear is just another emotion that you can feel and hope you have enough love for yourself to at least try. God bless you
If theres a fire and you are locked in, they wont be able to save you, or if you die and someone needs to rescue your pets how will they get in.
I want the safe box house thing with everything else in it too haha
That’s a bit overkill
Hopefully it doesn't malfunction and you get stuck in they're plus super dark 🌑
Same though
Turn my house into a Team Rocket hideout with1:59
Hey, thanks for not listing the palm ID (the only thing I wanted) in your "where to buy" list.
*8:50** For anyone else as curious as I was, "Zamac," or "Zamak" is an alloy of primarily zinc and aluminum... not particularly strong or heat resistant. Think "pot metal".*
The staircase treadmill may be a good idea if you get too old and can’t climb the stairs anymore and somehow it can work like a real escalator.
lifepod 2.0 is a good buy, lifepod 1.0 can be opened with a fork
Smart Drop, The thief took the whole box. 😂😂😂
The door shield should be put in to schools
2:44 Just use the window.
Yet we still don't have turrets that will shoot and kill the enemy that would be awesome to have because then your stuff would actually be considered safe
stop playing rust, it is melting your brain
@@deadlink1137 I don't play rust and it's true stuff would be a lot safer that way
Yeah then it's software craps out and kills your entire family after a fun day at the park.
So I looked up the barricade and it is 1500$ retail not 600$😮 still a great value in my opinion.
So to keep Civil Aviation Safety Authority (casa) safe you need these.
You definitely need a machine gun on that ring cam. Burglars will definitely scare once they hear the brrt
or a variety of noises like birds and mice so it could be a great cat toy....lol ..it does need a speaker tho
Bio Scanner, yeah until the power's out.
It'd be the same as any other electronically-actuated door latch. When the power goes out, it switches over to a backup power system to keep the doors operational.
Great now they have to cut off your whole hand to get past the scanner finger wasn’t good enough 🙄
5:25 imagine having it in a safe too in the safe house with the door lock .
Dude lol his rights guest walk on the side lol
So you can have your very own travelator from the Gladiators gameshow in your own home?
I hate to say it, but in the US you can't use the Life Pod 20 to store the firearm like that in the video. The NRA's regulations require that the ammunition and firearm are stored in separate locked safes.
Jesse you are right but there’s also another thing that I wanna tell y’all that you can easily just turn the dial to the off setting or turn it to a easier level
I think if I saw that on a set of stairs, I'd laugh as I walked up the side.
All this fancy stuff- I prefer a good old fashioned Claymore
I got as far as the burglars running away in terror from the little plastic drone.
i want the drone camera so i can see which of my cats are to blame for shitting not in the box..lol
Doorschield that doesn't work take a crowbar it the windows and you're in😂
Cool video
the sides of the treadmill dont move. could easily just walk up it
it was designed by collin furze as a workout device
This palm scanner can easily be hacked by someone who has already cut off your entire hand outside your home
The only one that's pretty ridiculous is the staircase treadmill 🤣
Anybody know if anything in this video is actually being used? The anti flood thing looked interesting but are any cities using it?
Most of the high tech products focus on the tech and forget about simple things like heavy steel being more durable than plastic and simple bypass attacks such as a magnet being used to actuate the solenoid causing the lock to release. On top of that, Colin produces meme material, not true security devices.
1:03 All biometric scanners have one big flaw, your biometric is visible by everyone. So none of them is secure.
1:58)Forget the treadmill. I saw a way to go up.
7:29)The exit is useless. Good for only six feet high. I can jump down.
Interesting.
7:52 "Hook [the emergency ladder] up... not more than 6 feet off the ground."
Cant they turn the treadmill off since the power box is downstairs.
Be paranoid always be paranoid
#11 can just be hacked to recognize other hands.
Maybe a justice system that discourages theft
Oh yea I remember why I am here, the treadmill stairs just walk on the outside of the belt that part wasn't moving, that be all. lmao
The retractable house I bet I could get in, cut all the power and I bet the motors will move freely. lol
I take that back, that huge garage door a simple hit with a car/truck will open that bad boy right open.
it was designed by collin furze as a workout device
😱 - Kevin from Home Alone
That first one is a treadmill installed on the stairs by ColinFurze
What good is the palm reader, if someone is desperate enough... they'll cut someone's hands off.
I want all of them
That house looks like something out of The Purge
I have a baseball bat and a hunting knife. And people call me paranoid.
This is all great if you got power...
You can bypass the treadmill stairs easily just step on the sides of it the treadmill belt does not ho to the edges
This is sssoooooooooooooo coooooooool
