Setup gets a lot simpler if you just have a Galaxy Fold phone. My portable setup is a Fold 5, a folding Bluetooth keyboard with integrated trackpad, a Samsung T7, and a Nomad 65W slim power adapter (it's tiny and has two Type C outputs).
@@nickthaskater it's not about just simplicity but a balance of it between power as well. The macbook provides that power of being able to do 4k editing. This also keeps me in the apple ecosystem cause I'd want an ipad mini as a secondary monitor. The fold is definitely a wonderful device as a samsung user before!
@@thebeefmami the Fold + LumaFusion is a very capable package for 4K editing. There's a lot to be said about being able to roll up to the coffee shop with nothing more than a 3L sling, pull the Fold out of my pocket, and get pretty much anything I want done. I mention this as I was considering the iPad etc. before going for the Fold. For someone who's still on the fence about creating an on-the-go setup, the ultra minimalist Fold-based setup shouldn't be discounted. I couldn't go back to a multi-device setup. If you absolutely must have multiple screens, then fair enough, that won't be the setup for you.
@@nickthaskater I tried using Lumafusion and still preferred Premiere Pro. I think it's better to go with your comfort pick as an editor. I just generally don't prefer editing on a tablet ( I had an S9+) because I have encountered it's limitations in editing for the type of editing I do and would rather use MacOS/Windows. I agree with you that the Fold shouldn't be discounted, I would like to have one when budget permits in the future!
@@thebeefmami thanks for your thoughts. 100%, being comfortable with your tools is a major point! For the record, I love your mobile setup. This sort of creativity always gets a click from me :)
This was amazing, thank you! As someone who also has a somewhat similar setup, I recommend checking out the Logitech MX Keys Mini for your keyboard needs. The only reason is that it's much quieter and also gentler on the fingers if you type hard and fast like I do (I love my mech keys but they can get noisy even in an environment like a coffee shop). Plus it's easy to switch between devices - I've actually busted out the keyboard when I want to type a super long ass message on my phone but can't get to the laptop for whatever reason.
Great question, I live in a place where I would feel unsafe to keep my stuff out so unfortunately I have to pack it and bring it with me then unpack again. I usually leave something inexpensive on the table to still reserve it. Although there are some spaces like coworking places that I feel safe enough to leave my belongings
@@pritambiswas4185 it's "typical" for a reason because it is reliable. Tried to do my work with tech that just couldn't handle the work I was doing till the Apple ecosystem. Unfortunate reality that I have it takes so much money for the power and portability. It definitely took a long time and a lot of hard work to save up for all of this.
I like these types of videos, they encourage me to branch out and not work at home so much. I like using the 12.9” iPad Pro with my 14” MBP Pro since they are the same height, it’s so aesthetic. The mini in portrait mode is the same height as well, but you can’t extend the display in portrait mode, only landscape, which is a shame.
Rush 12! Ftw

Oohh curious about that one! I'll definitely look at reviews for it. Thanks for the recommendation 😄
Great video. Love to see the Evergoods cap2. It's my favorite tech pouch
Always a joy watching your channel. 🎩 I value your opinion even if I'm not locked inside the Apple garden.
as always a quality content . i really enjoy your videos
All your vids look 🔥🔥🔥🔥Especially dig your review on Plotter Mini 5. New sub!
Love it! My setup is similar, but I still think that I pack up way too much stuff. Need to downsize a bit hehe
that was a yeah 😂
Nice setup. I’m curious… what do you when you need to visit the restroom at the cafe? 😅

nice sharing!
another same typical EDC which all other youtubers are using and making popular things more popular and expensive. Nothing new :(
