Let me clarify some of the points you mentioned:
1. Teacher touching the kids: It is perfectly fine for teachers to gently touch the kids, including patting their heads lovingly, especially when they know the children well and have developed a bond with them.
2. No fail policy: Yes, you're right. Kids are kids. Failing them during the K-12 level is often unproductive. If you've done your best using your teaching skills and they still don't pay attention in class, then let them be. It might mean that the school system isn't a good fit for them, and they might find their path in something outside of what the school can offer.
3. Playing cards: Playing cards in Thailand is allowed as long as no gambling is involved. It is legal if no money, cash, or any bets are present during the game. Thai people enjoy playing cards, and you can find them in some 7-11s or similar convenience shops. Don’t worry; you can play without any concerns if there is no gambling. However, card games are typically not played on school or university premises but are fine at home or outside school areas.

Yes Thai peaple very resoect to they head , only close up friend and elder can touch.

Actually you're correct. But you can actually touch their head once you know the kid, if dont know them thats the time you are not allowed to touch. Actually I did touching their heads with Thai teachers and mothers. In the end it also depends on the parents

Well, it really depends on the school's policies and practices. Generally, maybe yes, but they slowly adapt western practices especially these recent years... Anyway, you've got points particularly in Ayutthaya (old city) more traditional. 🇹🇭💕

Hi from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 . We also have "no fail policy". If a student fails it is considered like the teacher couldn't teach well, teacher is not professional 🤷♀️
Students that take a test cannot be failed, they are given the minimum pass make.
What about students that do not attend the test. These students cannot receive a pass for non attendance.
They still pass they can take the test on a later date

I have been doing almost all those "dont in Thailand" for over 10years without any problem. Actually Thai teachers are even doing worse...
Good for you👍, but not all schools are lenient specially private schools. There is no harm on respecting and following some rules, specially that we are just tourist here. 😊 I have alot of co-teachers (asians and westerns) that were fired just because they violated some of these "dont in Thailand" and I dont want that to happen to (any)new teachers here in Thailand.

Ms. Jacky sabi niyo po sa ibang vlogs 2 weeks pa lang po kayo sa 1st work niyo, naghahanap na kayo ng ibang trabaho. Ask ko lang po hindi po ba labag yon sa pinirmahan nyong kontrata? Hindi po ba kayo agad agad mabibigyan ng katibayan na maaari kayong magstay at magtrabaho sa thailand sa 1st two weeks na yon? (work permit po ba ang tawag don) Kasi po diba tourist visa lang ang hawak niyo. In the span of 1 month nakapag apply at nakapagturo na po kayo agad? Anong month po kayo nagapply noon? Pasensya na po ang daming tanong hehe
Hi beshy bibigyan ka ng non business visa ng employer mo after nun workpermit na. Si sa case ko non business visa na ung hawak ko nung nag wowork ako under ng agency. Since matagal sila mag process ng workpermit and based sa mga kasama ko din that time na matagal sila mag process ng workpermit kaya nag hanap na ko ng ibang school. Mejo complicated i explain lahat ng process dto pero legal naman lahat dont worry

@@ChloeinJapan if you like near the water (beach) you can try chonburi or phuket. Or if you want the world heritage temples and its near bangkok you can try Ayutthaya where I live. Its really nice here.
