This song is my favorite entry for Eurovision since I'm watching the contest (1990). I would be so proud too if I was Norwegian! This is pure music, I'm feeling so much while I listen to this, it's truly amazing. I have never spend money on voting but this year I just have to !

Send my best regards to Valhalla. You need to know when you have diamonds on your hands and thank Thor (God) that Norwegians understood that!! Last year we Finnish had the Käärijä who obviously won the Esc 2023. cha cha cha for that. I always like the impartial take on every song and it is more appreciated now, when it is about Norway's entry. I will say only one thing. For me, Eurovision isn't only about a song or a country winning in the contest. It is more about less known artists winning new audience and us, as music lovers, winning new favourite artists and experiencing different cultures. By the way, all participants were awesome and MGP is becoming my favourite National Final.
Gåte stole my heart! I've watched Eurovision and national selections since 2016, and this is the best performance I've ever seen. Though I've been a KEiiNO fan for many years, I voted for Ulveham and will gladly do that again in May - they deserve to win ESC! Lots of love from Ukraine! ❤

”Ulveham” is a beautiful song and it is probably going to be my favorite ESC song this year. (It has to be something absolutely amazing to beat Gåte.) I’ve been wanting Norway to send something in Norwegian for a long time. ”Alvedansen” is one of my all time favorites to this date. ”Ekko inni meg” last year and ”Kvelertak” the year before were my favorite MGP songs and I still listen to them. Jeg kommer å stemme Norge i mai. Lykke til fra naboen deres! 🇫🇮 ❤ 🇳🇴
It could become one of the title contenders, even if it wasn't quite my cup of tea on first listen. At least at the moment, I don't see any country being able to compete with this outstanding vocal power and drama this year. Good luck from Germany!

As for me personally, winning song is ok, but not something I'm used to, and not sure if I will be compelled to vote for it. But I think it's more important to be represented by the song you want to be represented with, than by one that has the best chances for the good result. Anyway, this was definitely one of the best songs in the competition (I preffered Gothminister, and male-female duet, though).
Re. show - it was very entertaining and enjoyable show to watch and production was on Melfest level. Again, well done 👍

As a Ukrainian, I don't like our own entry that much this year. And being a huge admirer of the Norwegian/Icelandic tongues, which sound to my ear just as beautiful as my mother tongue, I am glad Norway is sending Gåte. Your grounds to be proud of the entry are legit, for the song and the performance are great. I'll be rooting for Norway this year. Good luck, Gåte!

Out of curiosity (Italian here): since it's (or is based on) a folk song, is she singing in "standard" norwegian or is she using some kind of dialect? (For example, in Sanremo 2024 Geolier was singing in Neapolitan dialect, which is very different from standard Italian)
Great question! She is singing in "old Norwegian", a language used only in writing today. Norwegians understand most of it (the gist) but would have trouble translating it word by word. Hope that answered your question

Wanted them to win and the instrumental is really good especially in the end... But also the song gets old quick... Impactful definitely but not exactly a songwriting masterpiece
