I almost bought this car after you cleaned it up and put the d-series back in. It was super clean for what it was then. Great canvas to start from. I ended up buying a CRX when you decided to keep this one. Built the crx from the ground up. Still have mine. I think my friend Ian may have been the one that had this car and got rid of the green hood. I love Ian but he was an idiot for doing that and not keeping that car! I also remember coming into your apartment and seeing all that crap in there lol. I'll have to do a video like this for my build!

Funny that i run into your story. Right now my son and i have been working on a 88 ef. But we been running into so much bolt problems removing trailing arms and things of that nature. I was so mad cause i broke a bolt plate on the left side of the car removing the corner bolt to wheel Wale was so piss that I've told post up for sell im done! But a few hour's after i remember about my old cars and that the project it's for him not for me! So long story short... I took a break from it to later get back to that one bolt so now i just need a grinder to open up the area of the bolt and go from there.... But anyways thanks for sharing your story. I also had many Integra i shouldn't never sold but we live and learn!😂
My friend has your shell here in Indiana. It's been sitting as a bare shell ever since. He was wanting to sell it a few weeks ago. If you wanted to rebuild it you could. He's trying to get in contact with you
color looked amazing in person! The guy that bought it back in the midwest and sold the hood and put it on LS meshes was a friend of mine and an idiot at the time. This was a top notch build and one that inspired my crx build years ago. I almost bought this car then Mike decided to keep and build it, I got my crx instead. No regrets!

Sentimental value and if even the CARB reffery do not pass it ill keep it somewhere else until it doesn't need smog test... Is my baby.. I have 3 more cars so I can spare that one... Thanks god

My very first Honda was a 89 EF hatch that started out like yours but I was a broke azz high school kid working at a pizza place making pizzas till like 3am just so I could afford parts for my twincam ZC swap and three days after the swap was complete this MFer came flying around a corners and rear ended me in the driver side rear. What's going on bro, so I just ran into this video and as your talking about how it was sold and and then strip down in Indiana, I went down to Indiana and bought parts from that car lol... that's crazy Man! I bought the interior harness and dash and some other miscellaneous items along with a carbon fiber sir hood.
That's a shocking experience I crashed my first hatchback my friend gave me then like three years later he died that was the car I learned how to drift and drive a stick . And found out I enjoyed working on cars . Thanks to my friend r.i.p Brandon
Everything is fixable. Can't believe this car was built from the ground up and ended up being parted out because it got damaged from an incident! I almost bought this car before he tore it all down and one of my buddies was the idiot that owned it and sold the hood. I did a full resto-build of my crx. When they go through that much work being saved, to say it required a part out from being damaged doesn't really make sense. Maybe it was way worse than you make it sound but such nice car should have never been parted out no matter the extent of the damage. Sell it to someone that has the determination to save it anyway even if it doesn't make financial sense. Building cars like this never makes financial sense.

The ef civic chassis is still my favorite to this day. For the older Honda guys like myself, this chassis will always be special.

I know the final owner. The wheel fell off at 60mph, screwing up stuff which required the part out.
Also, the previous owner to him had messed up the car quite a bit. Probably contributing to said wheel falling off.
