Always kill the Nekusar player first!! I had a discard deck but it drew so much hate that I took it apart. He should also play classic 2CMC Tibalt. I have him in my Rakdos deck :)
OK, I'm entering two years late, but I'd like to win the thing because apart from using cards to keep the table steady, I can also peel them apart carefully into three (maybe four!?) sheets and use them for important biological functions. They are a bit small but if you're careful and probably wash your hands afterwards, they do the job. I'd use my regular cards but I collect jank since I'm as lucky as Brando in pack opening, so I need Secret Lair or Mythic foils etc to utilise. Many thanks and fu.
As for counters I play the two red spells that specifically kills / counters blue spells… because let’s be real.. the only thing that’s countering your red spells is blue. Wrath effects are not big deal because when the devils die they trigger, however blue spells that just unsummons removes the triggers. So in this deck I highly recommend anti blue counter spells instead of redirect spells.
