Zurzoth is certainly an underrated commander from Jumpstart. Just the disruptive nature of his random discard should have gotten more attention. I also think that Raid Bombardment would be a great card in this deck
Shh! Let him remain underrated so that it'll keep going down in price :P I tried Raid Bombardment and similar effects but they were only significant if you constantly attacking with a lot of creatures which wasn't only the case. Of those effects I only left Hellrider (for obvious reasons) and Throne of the God-Pharaoh because it cares about the creatures being tapped - for whatever reason why they were tapped, whether they attacked or not.
Hey! I love all your deck builds. Since you've done builds for Arahbo and Edgar would you consider doing builds for the other 2 eminence commanders? :)
Thanks! I'm glad you do! It's definitely something I can consider since Inalla and The Ur-Dragon are also pretty decent commanders. I do have a pretty long queue though so it remains to be seen if I can get around to them :P
I really love Zurzoth and I've been playing him non-stop since he was released on MTGO. Your deck tech was really spot-on about how explosive and self-sufficient Zurzoth can be. You might want to look into getting a pop filter for your microphone. It'll help with taking the edge off the top end of your audio. Wildfire Devils exiles at random spell from graveyards and then casts a copy. You can't potentially lock out the game even if there's an extra turn spell. Solemn Simulacrum only cantrips when it dies, not entering the battlefield.
@@hainzyy Hi! Zurzoth has been getting a couple goodies every set. A really synergistic one is City on Fire from MOM. Another great addition is Descent into Avernus from from CLB. He's still a very fun and based commander to play. :)

It definitely is an amazing deck for sure!
Yeah, thanks for clearing that up. I must've mixed it up when talking about the card.
hey! curious if you still play Zurzoth and how it's adapted over the years.
