I had a dog who was hit by a combine when he ran away. It tore the inside of his leg to the bone and was infected when we found him. The vet had us put raw honey (any kind just raw), sugar, and a touch of water in a spray bottle. We washed his leg 3 times a day with Luke warm water and sprayed that on it. It started to be straight pink in less than 3 days. Honey is amazing

I have a much loved dog here in Australia who was struck by snake number 7 on our deadly list. We have 17 of the top 20 deadlies globally :(, we do have to be cautious on our rural property. Serum saved her but the wound was a shocker because that particular snake's toxin breaks down muscles. We used a specialist vet service and what did they suggest to use even with access to the best of pharmacy drugs, Yep, honey. Cleared it up and we didnt need surgery on the wound. Use it all the time, luckily I am a backyard bee keeper so honey, propolis and wax are all home produced.

I hope you heal ! Just want to suggest finding a "functional medicine" MD or practitioner, to help you get to the bottom of things. They usually have u do an elimination diet, and I would advise being sure they do a very thorough one ( mine, for ex., didn't exclude as many things as my husband's, who had a different Dr.. His had him excluding rice too, every single grain, seed and nut, for the 3 to 5 weeks, and I think were better at treating likely leaky gut). Mine suspected I had mycotoxin issues and an issue in my sinuses, and I was tested and did. Am still being treated for those right now. Meanwhile, my husband is doing a lot better, his main issues were extreme brain fog and fluctuating psoriasis. His blood test showed markers for inflammation and his was super high. Even tho I'd often had him on good tumeric products and fish oils, & we eat a mostly home-grown and otherwise fairly all-natural and OG diet, btw, tho don't do everything the Weston A. Price foundation recommends (such as always pre-soaking nuts etc.) which is my goal. There gut healing program incl. things we'd done, but a few more I'd never heard of, plus, meanwhile, he was avoiding ALL potential problem foods. Allowing for healing b4 reintroducing them 1 by 1.
I already knew I was intolerant of gluten and most dairy, and after the elimination diet, found out ANY dairy bothers me, even butter. I don't have access to it now, but I didn't do ok on even OG, raw, 100% grain-free, forage/pasture fed dairy. For some people, properly raised/fed/grown/prepared foods ( which used to be normal, around the world) makes all the difference, so, something to keep in mind. I recommend finding and trying these foods of that quality 1st, when re-introducing after an elimination diet, to better know what it is your body isn't ok with.

Mānuka is a kind of tea tree (Leptospermum) native to N.Z, and the part of Australia (South East) where I live :)
Tea Tree is a natural antibiotic, a bit like eucalyptus. The honey is made from bees that only visit that type of tree, that is why it is expensive, and it is pretty rare in that way.
Here is some cut and paste on the botanical name for your reference - I get the vibe that you like research and botanical names as much as I do! 😉♥️
*The word mānuka is from the Māori language in which it represents the bush or tree (Leptospermum scoparium). Mānuka honey is produced by European honey bees (Apis mellifera) foraging on the mānuka or tea tree (Leptospermum scoparium) which grows uncultivated throughout New Zealand and southeastern Australia.*

Manuka honey worked on my husband's nonhealing wound just as well as the prescription antibiotic cream. Usually I've found natural remedies may take a tad longer to work. However, the Manuka honey worked just as quickly!
Oh, and several Drs misdiagnosed him. It wasn't a nonhealing wound. It was a wound that wouldn't heal because sutures didn't dissolve from a surgery years before. They finally worked their way to the surface and we removed them. Wound healed and didn't return as it did before after rounds of medication. He kept putting the honey on it for a while just to be sure it wouldn't come back lol

We couldn't find the Polysproin to put on the scrapes, then I prayed and was reminded about honey being good for cuts and scrapes. We gently patted her back with a warm, wet wash cloth. Then we gently applied honey to the scrapes and the pain and swelling was completely down within 20 minutes. Her back was tender for a few days, but the honey dealt with the worst of it.

You might also try trimming the hair around the area. The saliva from chewing and licking causes bacteria in the hair. Get it as short as you can. Preferably shave around the area with clippers. It sounds like hotspots. If the dog is not chewing it it sounds like honey is the trick.

I stopped using medical doctors and pharmaceuticals when I was misdiagnosed by three different physicians and put on medications for aliments I didn't have. I started searching for answers on my own and came to natural medicine and diet and I've never looked back. I also found that pharmaceuticals are simply copies of medicinal plants that have what "scientists" believe are the active ingredients but don't have the synergistic components made in nature, which causes the majority of side effects and harm. I no longer trust the medical establishment. It's all about the money, no matter how many they kill or maim.

    • @RainCountryHomestead
      @RainCountryHomestead  2 ปีที่แล้ว +35

Yep, they take the active ingredient (that is meant to be consumed as part of a whole, NOT isolated) then they synthesize it. So not only are they making something that is not as affective or safe, it is fake and causes other health problems. However, they can make FAR more money off of something they can patent.

I broke six vertebrae and three ribs. They put an implant in place of t-8 and t-9. The medical community’s “bureaucracy” (it starts with a B...💩” was more painful than the injury itself. Neurosurgeon says bed rest, all the rest of my doctors scheduled as many chargeable mandatory visits as possible. The surgeon had a problem with my insurance so he wouldn’t handle my aftercare during the global period. No other neurologists would see me due to the global period liability. Primary doctors wouldn’t help with my pain during the global period. Pain Management said they couldn’t help me until I was healed bc they deal with chronic pain. I ended up making potent thc/cbd coconut oil and it saved my life literally. The pain was so great and every door shut in my face due to the medical industry’s “policies” that I wished I could move enough to get something to end my life with. I’m healed mostly now and they wanna give me opiates now. Nah I’m good. If the medical community could feel the pain they cause with their policies they’d all end their lives. I have deep seeded animosity towards anyone wearing scrubs or a lab coat. Part of me wants to share the pain with the neurosurgeon who caused the pain due to billing issues. He saw dollars, not another human in utter agony.

I agree with you 💯, I have medical issues that the doctors can not find an answer to. I have done test, after test and come to nothing every time. It's not only frustrating but I know in my heart what is wrong and no one listens to me. It is our food supply. It is our medicine. We are being poisoned. These things are not meant for the human body to consume. Yet, they keep forking pills down my mouth, and have me on things that I don't know how to get off of without their help. Like suboxone and antidepressants. When I ask to get off these things, they are afraid that my pain will lead me to drug use. I am afraid that these medications are causing my pain. I want off these drugs. I don't know how.

Anyway, my point is that I am glad you made this video because now I can help people who are desperate for these things.
I have an autoimmune condition and I am allergic to most antibiotics. Some even give me severe stomach pains and vomiting!!!
I have to tell every medical place that I can't have most antibiotics due to my overly sensitive immune system.
Not only can I make this for my family, but I can now make it for myself. This will be taught to my children and other people all over the world.
I believe I can invent one using honey, Garlic, Ginger, Oregano, and Thyme. (I am thinking about using vinegar since my family has issues with blood sugar and blood pressure.)
You may want to try it yourself.
I usually use these ingredients and I have found that Garlic is a type of antibiotic for the intestines. My IBS has improved Greatly since I started to eat it. Sometimes I will consume a whole garlic clove directly if my intestines have been misbehaving. You will not believe the results I get!

That is great testimony! Though I will add that it is also important to understand that a fully plant based diet is not the best solution for all. I actually have tried it and was very good at what I did even making my own dairy replacements (I still make various dairy free milks because for a lot of things I prefer them to dairy milk) but for me it became a detriment to my health so I went back to being an omnivore and immediately felt better again. I also was vegetarian in my early 20's and after a period of time had to go back to the natural omnivore diet as I ended up with the same problems I had in my 40's when I went vegan

I'm just recovering from nearly 2 mos. of shingles outbreak and recovery. It was very bad. Covered a very large area of my left back around to my navel. The only thing my Dr. managed to phone in after a good week was an antibiotic and prescription for gabapentin..I was in full bloom by then and crippled in pain.
On daughters advice about half through the G prescription. I dropped it.
Dr. too booked up :/...don't even want to go there.
I take no meds and have been very healthy. And yes I did have 2 shingles vaccines, the last being 4 years ago...I think they have come out with a new version now...which of coarse I would never take now.
This was the sickest and most pain I've been in my lifetime of 77 yrs.
My raw vegan naturopathic daughter got me through it. I used many natural extracts w/out alcohol and many supplements 'the best and pure'. I will not have any nerve damage...I'm 77 yrs old.
The Dr.or doctors 'not available' never saw me. Had I relied on her I'm pretty sure I would have permanent nerve damage and pain without hope.

The very next morning, he came home again and I was shocked to find the pocket was completely closed and no abcess had formed.
This past spring, I dumped out a trashcan of compost that had gone anaerobic and spread it over a patch where I was planning to plant my sweet corn. It was slimy and smelly and surely full of really bad stuff. I was holding the yucky compost pitchfork wrong as I walked across the yard, and I stabbed myself in the ankle about half an inch deep. I was certain it would become infected, but I kept on working, like a good homesteader, and a couple hours later I washed with soap and water and put a bandaid on with Manuka honey, thinking I'd need a prescription antibiotic cream in the next day or two. The next morning I checked the wound and there was no pus, no drainage, not even a hint of swelling. This stuff is a real miracle worker, and I think everyone needs to know about it.
I was in a tough spot, financially (family of 5 living on $700/mo for 18 months), following a medical disaster of my own and a work injury of my partner's, and there was no way I'd be able to afford the Manuka honey. Or so I thought. Even though it is more of a medicine, used in wound care clinics etc., since technically honey is a food item, *you can use food stamps or SNAP benefits to purchase it!*
Same goes for seeds, bulbs, herb and vegetable starts, and even *fruit trees!*
Rather than being reliant on the system in hardship, use the system smartly to become as self-reliant as possible!

I once helped an injured cat that had a front leg broken in multiple places, from paw to shoulder, and hanging limp, rotting, dripping-very gross. We found the cat in our yard after we returned home from a week away, and never learned what happened to her. No other marks on her anywhere. Anyway, I removed the rotted flesh and dumped hydrogen peroxide on it, mashed up an old pain pill from someone having a root canal that I honestly thought might put her out of her mystery-because I really didn’t think she had any chance of living. I also gave her some penicillin that was years old that one of my kids had an allergic reaction to. She recovered nicely, and bone protruded for a couple years, but eventually it closed over with skin and fur. She lived another 9 years or so after that.

This is the most refreshing channel and information I've found in a long time! I've been having an allergic reaction to something the last two weeks and I've been breaking out in hives, which is new for me, so I'm looking for a remedy in attempt to avoid Western medicine, which has failed me before. I think it may be my dog since we got him a few months ago, but noticed he's been shedding more lately. I just subscribed and look forward to watching more of your videos!

Some breeds of dogs shed a lot two times of the year. I once believed they only shed their winter coat but they actually shed their summer coat as well so in the fall, all t hat comes off to be replaced by the thicker winter coat and then again in the spring to be replaced by the lesser warm weather coat. I am glad you are finding my information helpful! One thing to consider for seasonal allergies if it is not related to the dog is local raw honey. A Tablespoon per day or as needed

I’m almost 70 yrs old and learned how to can, dehydrate, vacuum seal and freeze. I had a garden last yr in buckets and grow bags. I’ve just acquired a chicken coup. I no longer watch tv. I work a full time job and watch you tube at night to learn more. I just found your channel but I’ve searched for videos where you actually “do” things. Like hands on showing how to make things. I’m a person who needs to “see” it done then I do it. Can you steer me too the step by step videos showing for instance how and “why” I need to make vinegars. Videos showing me how to ferment as well. Thank you.
