I read about their medicinal power so as I walk from my apartment I "borrow" a red flower or 2 or 10 from the vines that adorn the walkways that I pass to get to town. I am retired in Lithuania so I view most of Luli's videos.

I could eat the leaves for a salad with nothing on it everyday, it taste like mild radishes. I am going to make tinctures for this year’s cold and flu season. Thank you for such an informative video. ❤

    Watching from Australia.
New sub to your channel now. 😀🖐🇦🇺❤️
I just made a small jar of nasturtium flower tincture.
Now I've watched this, I'll process the leaves as well.
Recently made Nettle tincture & a parsley tincture & growing elderberries to do the same.
    Love doing this stuff!
    Cheers!

@catey62 my tinctures turned out well. I'm going to try sell at a local market.
Parsley is good for so many things. Another powerhouse of benefits, too many to list here. Good luck making yours. It's really not at all difficult & it's an enjoyable process I find.
Love to see other Aussies interested in same things. Gives me hope. ❤️😊⚘️

I love nasturtium ,. I have given it to e family members to help with abcess teeth and just a bad toothache. Usually didn't need any more than 2 capsules. Just read about using the leaves in cooking. Grind the leaves and use them as pepper as well.

I always plant nasturtiums with my tomato plants because I believe that it keeps aphids away. And it makes the greenhouse look prettier. Nice to know that I can get more use out of them. I am especially interested in using the seeds as pepper substitute, do they get dried in a dehydrator or just air dried?

    • @lulishomestead6767
