It's an incredible bike. I chose it over the Fiido M1 pro because its PROPERLY waterproof and looks better. My friend has the M1 pro. It's not properly waterproof..and when he was caught in a heavy down pour. It affected his motor and controller. And he lost his top speed for 3 days. I've been caught in torrential rain twice on the ADO A20F already. And it handles it fine. It's a proper ALL WEATHER bike. I've even been on snow with it. It handles it all.
Plus it looks badass on the road. With those mag rims and solid almost military GRADE frame and fat tyres. It gets RESPECT and consideration from other road users. And even people on motorbikes have to do a double take. It looks like it can take down a wall. I put an innova road tyre on my front wheel. And immediately this increased the top speed to 26mph. And the range by over two miles aswell.
Just love this bike. And the onboard charger means I can charge my mobile phone or anything as I travel. Love it.

I have same bike and following your instructions mine will only do 20 mph but maybe I’m not getting long enough straight road sections. I bought some steel mudguards from ally express for £45 . My three issues I have are first I bought a suspension seat post to make the bike more comfortable second im going to change the brake pads as my brakes sound terrible and third I’ll change the handle bars and stem as I find the original to short and not a good position, thanks for video

    • @fender1000100
      @fender1000100 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

That's impossible unless you got the EU version. Which is set at a max speed of 31kph. You need the INTERNATIONAL version to release the full 500w power of the bike. And hit 25mph top speed. More if you are sub 180lbs and put road tyres on the bike like I do and did. I've hit nearly 27mph (46kph) on the flat. Your WEIGHT is a factor. If one rider weighs 175lbs. And another weighs 250lbs. It's obvious who is going to go faster on an ebike.
As for suspension just get a big universal saddle with a back rest. Like I've done. You will feel like you are floating down the road on your favourite couch. Ass ache is non existent on this saddle even after 1 hour plus rides.
Suspension is overrated. The correct psi and a thick universal saddle will give you all the comfort you will ever need.

Yes I have a feeling you may have got the EU version. But have you tried setting the parameters on P8 and P9 and P14?
This will tell the story. A cloud 9 or better still a millaoyo universal saddle with a backrest. You can get them on Amazon for around £55. And you will float down the road. You see when you purchase from geekbuying they have EU and international options. Can you remember which one you chose?
Theres no 250w motor. What you seem to have got is the A20 motor which is 350w. And will allow a top speed of 34kph or 21mph in a real world test. And someone weighing less than 180lbs. Until its unlocked. The international version comes unlocked already.

      @@MrTechcat
Not if you have it pimped out like mine. The reason I chose the A20F over the M1 PRO. Was you can add a rear rack to the A20F. Aswell as having more flexibility with handlebar height and a better front light and a USB charger.. I added an 18L M WAVE cargo box. And guess what's in my cargo box. Yep a spare battery. So I can get over 22 miles at over 20 miles an hour speed for most of my journey.
It takes 2 minutes for me to swap over batteries. But the time I save in my round trip of 20 miles to and from work doing so is at least 30 minutes. Compared to when I used to have to go much slower (9 miles an hour) to preserve the battery. To get to work and back on a single battery. The other thing I did was change out the TYRES for speedster honeycomb tyres. That immediately added at least 2 miles to my battery range. Because your rolling resistance is greatly reduced. And that also means you accelerate faster and reach a superior top speed. (27MPH) Remember what's making bikes like the D4S easier to ride and go further is they use slicker road tyres. The speedsters make a world of difference to the A20F. Even pedalling with the motor turned off is so much easier. And with the amazing design of the speedster honeycombs your road grip isnt compromised either. They are expensive. But worth every penny. For the effect they have on speed and rolling resistance. The A20F becomes more like the A20 with them on but FASTER and more comfortable. They also reduce the NOISE the A20F makes rolling on hard roads.
So its ALL good. Plus I can keep my mobile phone charged on the A20F. Which is FANTASTIC for exploring new destinations. Plus the design of the A20F. Draws alot of attention. Its built like a TANK. Almost military grade like the hummer of ebikes. One of my work colleagues calls it the BATMAN BIKE. I just love it. Other people out there give you more RESPECT and consideration on this bike. Than they would if you were on a light flimsy bike. Because this bike looks like it could knock down a wall. Plus I swapped out that small uncomfortable saddle. For a big universal saddle with a backrest on it. And now it feels like you are floating down the road. On a very comfortable chair. Just AWESOME. Never have any ass ache. Even if I ride for 2 hours.

The EU version has a 350w motor and can only go 31 to 35kph. The International version has a 500w motor. And will go 39 to 45kph depending on your weight and the tyres used.
I get up to 47kph on mine. As I weigh 171lbs and use Vee honeycomb speedster tyres which immediately add two to three miles of top speed to the bike. Seriously decrease rolling resistance. So even with the motor turned of. It's much easier to pedal. Plus your RANGE. is increased by as much as 4 miles a charge with these amazing tyres.

Dear people who live in Europe, do not mess with these settings!
yes, it's all fun and cool to go faster,... but if you get into a accident, doesn't matter if it's your fault or not, when you have this setting on, in Europe, good luck with paying for everything, because the insurance will absolutely not cover you anymore! :)
Also, the motor has to work a lot harder, and will break down sooner too. (not that big of a deal, but it will work on full force so it will take less time to go bad.)

It all comes down to the addiction or need for speed. If I ride my A20F at 15.5 miles per hour. Which is fine by me. I get 25 to 30 miles out of it. And that's all I need from a charge. As my round trip to work and back gets covered.
If you are adamant you must have 22 plus miles per hour. Then that's the trade off. At the end of the day. It's still a hell of a bike for €850. Plus the battery can be removed and charged conveniently while I'm at work. The way others charge a mobile phone. It's all good.
The MX21 has an 11AH battery. So you would not be getting that much more range if you hit 25mph anyhow.
The only Ebike out there for under a grand that can give you SERIOUS range from a single charge when unlocked to go over 22mph. Is the Fiido L3. That bike is the KING of range. With its huge 23.2 AH battery.
But few people want a bike with 14 inch wheels. The M21 has a top speed of 36km. The A20F has a top speed of 46Km. Once you go over 25mph. You put a much greater drain on the battery.
If I've got to get somewhere faster than normal on a given day. I simply charge the removable battery while I'm at work. Then I can fly around at 25 plus mph. On the way to work. And on the way back.

    • @fender1000100
      @fender1000100 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

No it's not. He is biased unfortunately. In the comparison video. He is pedaling like a maniac on the A20+. To try and get it to go as fast as the A20F. In a pure throttle test the A20F is about 4 miles an hour faster. 21 vs 25.
The A20+ reaches its top speed in about 20 seconds. The A20F reaches its top speed in about 30 seconds. But the A20F reaches the A20+ top speed in the SAME TIME.
I've tested both bikes so can confirm this as a fact. So unfortunately this comparison video is flawed and misleading. Due to the author's personal bias for the smaller A20. And smaller bikes with smaller tyres in general. Like the Fiddo D4S and Fiddo D11.
But make no mistake about it. The same WEIGHT RIDER on both bikes will go FASTER on the A20F. I weigh 171lbs. And I got a top speed of 21.7mph on a flat road. With a fully charged A20+. I got a top speed of 25.8mph on the same road with an A20F.
So without question the A20F is a faster bike. Take no notice of this video. It's a lie. He bases his argument on ACCELERATION. Which is also misleading. Because from a STANDSTILL. The A20F will reach the A20+ top speed in around the SAME TIME. It just needs about 10 seconds more to reach it's own top speed of 25mph.
So this whole video is misleading and flawed.

Another thing fat bike users dont understand is you are using BIGGER wheels than 20 inch. The fat tyres make them closer to 23 inches. So when you program the computer you have to take this into account to get accurate numbers. And you should be putting 23 inches for wheel size.

An ebike should be able to do 25 mph comfortably on the flat without struggling for it to be competent, anything less is pointless.

I'm guessing you're American. Americans are allowed to go 28mph but I'm ok with 20mph here in UK where the legal limit for the motor is 15.5mph.

yes, I've put 45 km/h limit and I hit it... so I could have tried moving the limit even higher like 60km/h.. and maybe the bike could hit 50km/h going downhill then.

Can you explain that in detail please. How is P14 affecting P8. You realize 50Km Is 31mph right? I have never been past 42KM on the flat. And 46 on a downhill stretch.

No many people use km. It's a lot better in mph. Using km you have to go off the video just to check how fast kilometres is. More often than not I don't go back to the video losing u one person who may subscribe or like the video.
