Gravy easy. Butter flour milk salt pepper crumble sausage in sausage. Mix done putting much. I use the sausage or bacon grease to make my gravy for sausage and biscuits.

Loved this. It would be something I would make for breakfast/brunch anytime. I live in Canada and there are many products that are available in the U.S. that aren't available here. Where I live, the only sausage that is not in a casing is Italian sausage and it comes in 2 formats - mild and spicy. I think this recipe would be awesome using the spicy Italian sausage! 😊
I use to do this but after I rolled the biscuit out I would put a spoon of saw mill gravy, a spoon of sausage, scrambled egg, a piece of cheese and the a spoon of potatoes O'Brian. Yummmy i have also done this with mushrooms, onion, cheese, sun dried tomatoes and red bell peppers and Ive done this and made pizza pockets. Also... fill it with chocolate, marshmallows, and once cooked sprinkle with powdered sugar. Yep, I LOVE TO COOK and I Adore YOU!!!!!!

Hint: If you want it to tilt toward the Mexican cuisine side. Add Hatch green chili chopped with the pimento. (Make it Christmas!) Make sure you serve it with sliced avocado and salsa.

Paula, I think this is a great idea. They are so much nicer than a regular ole biscuit with the egg n sausage. Another person here commenting suggested heart shaped for V. day. Another great idea! They looked fantastic. By the way, the bits left in the bottom of the pan is called the "fond". Culinary term.
Fond? I hadn't ever heard that. Makes sense though.

With the lock down our hubby's were meeting outside every a.m. for coffee now with the cold weather we have them at our house on Wed and I serve them breakfast this will be perfect since I can fix it the night before. Their ages range from 70's to 90.

For those people that gave a thumbs down (and there were a lot), I'm wondering if it was because she had runny yolks at the bottom of the bowl when she put the cooked eggs from the pan in it. She is like me with runny egg whites...she won't have anything to do with them ('NO BOOGERS' as she says). I'm sure the yolks did cook up from the heat. Um Paula 🤔, men ARE good at measuring inches 😉.

They look great! Definitely going to try these. I will take the 10 min extra to make a buttermilk biscuit as I’m sure will take it to a whole next level. Also those premade biscuits and mixes contain so many unhealthy additives and preservatives that our bodies don’t need..

I got my cat from The Dog pound. I have name my cat Pumpkin to,,,
I always cook the veggies/cheese with the eggs. Makes them not crumble all over when you bite the biscuits. Maybe it's not crumbly inside a pocket though.
