That's a great rod you have there.I bought a 16 foot rod in South Africa. You can really sling it out. Too old now to cast like that now.

Not related to this video but have a question for you guys how do you stop your rod eye’s corroding I always wash them in clean water after each trip butt just went out on a session yesterday and there all oxidising there not that old maybe had 6 sessions if that.

After 6 sessions sounds about iffy mate? My advise would be use some WD 40 then gently wipe it down with cloth. But in all fairness your rings should not be showing corrosion after 6 trips.

ACF50 mate, stops anything from rusting! Most bikers who keeping their bikes outside for winter use it, it's magical stuff, After dipping my rigs in fresh water after use and drying, I brush them with the stuff, they last ages.
