I happily own a few Century rods now . The Tip Tornado Ultra lite is a lovely rod to use . Tend to use my Sport for fishing rough ground marks for Cod. Recently purchased a Fireblade which I am very impressed with .
I've a pair of tip tornado sports i bought in 2002 , great rods. They're in the spare room and pristine. Actually I might dust them down and im getting the bug to go fishing back again. I enjoy watching these videos
Tony what rod is that team daiwa I'm interested in it. I had a team daiwa Paul kerry edition really old carbon rod and it performed spot on, I sold it a few years ago and have regretted it since.
Think mine was only 12ft 6 something like that whisper edition I remember it said, rod was really stiff but banged a 7-8oz weight out down chisel better than my penn or sonik surf rods
Hi guys, i fish Southeast Essex and North Kent marks, so half clean ground distance fishing and half patchy mixed ground and strong-ish tides, right through the year, mostly 5 and 6oz leads. I really like the look of the Fireblade GT but not too sure which length for this general area? Any ideas which id be best going with the 13 or 14ft?
you might need to buy in reducers for the new rod i use reducers on the t1000 and on kompressors ss handy when your casting with the reel low down on the butt
You should try the graphex supermatch has the power to send 7oz (5/6 optimum) and the tip to see the smallest bites I have a graphex sport, supermatch, kompressor ss, excalibur tt. My most used are the supermatchs
The Graphex Match and Super Match are nicer fishing rods. The Sport is a powerful rod and it recovers faster than my M4Evo. I've cast and fished with them all and the Graphex Super Match is my favourite.
Any ideas for best "affordable" 3 piece beach rod for a beginner please. Fixed spool only, Thanks. NB I already use a Shaky EXP Agility bass rod at 11ft and EXP 11ft 6" Salt Beach but looking for a step up🙏
@@eliotdeag8040 there are so many, check out the previous tackle reviews on this channel, or on the fishing with CJ channel, or give Tony a ring in the shop , he always has deals on, or great quality pre loved rods
Brilliant this is what is needed, in depth reviews of rods. Such a minefield

Beautifully finished rods. Pricey, but you get what you pay for and built in this country. The Fireblade is a bit of a bargain. Big Danny likes it.
