My Red Reishi mycelium is growing at an alarming rate. All other species are growing at a snails pace and they are all on the same dark shelf. Is this unusual?
I don’t know if he uses solar driers like you’re talking about but he has mentioned that he uses dehydrators or just fan drying (fan drying works in AZ so well I think cause of the low humidity)

In my experience, this is usually due to temperature fluctuation. They are very susceptible to that.
