      Myessss...
Spread this channel, we need more growers worldwide.
Such an under served community for everyone to get healthier. This literally could be the cure for the planet, quite literally in terms of what is going on now.... (blackhoof mushroom especially I have done a lot of research on, its very under talked about!!)

With all the research going on and trials currently, they may become a regular medication at some point in the future, not something I thought would be the case 10 years ago.

    Man this video is refreshing.
My entire feed of youtube lately (where I go to learn things), even non-politics video is becoming so filled with argumentative political video content....even the grower channels now.
This is refreshing, to have something productive AND positive made here to watch.. A lot of people have 'hate feeds' to get constant views from others who watch created stuff that drives debate and negative views of the planet.... not here... not here.. complete opposite.

    • @cjhification

I also like the general chilled out nature of the videos, and that fact that it sticks to growing/cultivating mushrooms and associated topics in a relaxed way.
He's also really appealing to both stereotypes, as he has a very strong work ethic and is knowledgeable about his business which appeals to the right stereotype. But is also doing lots of stuff with using others waste to grow his product, and using the spent substrate to provide for others in an onwards cycle, which appeals to the left stereotype.

All your videos are very informative and easy to follow, thanks a lot. I am only at the beginning of gathering information and just wanted to ask the question with regards to autoclaving. Is it possible to sterilize grain spawn substrate the same way as you do with fruiting substrates( like atmospheric steam sterilization) for example. I am not sure I can obtain an autoclave right away. Thanks!!

How big is an operation like this? It feels massive while also seeming somewhat of a one man operation. I remember you had some crew helping you in the past, unsure if you film these after hours or something.
Also, do you dabble with cordyceps? I always found them to be super interesting and was wondering if you grow them? Do you ever do stuff for institutions looking to learn more about certain species.
    Thanks for the video!

Lol omg, you got the autoclave, steam generator, and mixer for $1,000? You lucky man you. I use 2 150L concrete mixers for substrate and I've been doing 5 lb grain bags in my AA941 and a 23 quart PC, if I run two cycles a day I can get 26 bags done a day, but it's enough work for sure. How do you go about hydrating your grains??

    Hey man, love the vids.
Any chance you could share the pressure you are running your clave at?
You said 212f, however the heat and pressure charts would mean that at “high pressure” it would be higher than 212f. Also sterilization starts at 250f.

It definitely helps for stacking in larger setups, plus if you're inoculating with grain spawn or agar then it's necessary... it seals itself up like a vacuum sealer when folded this way and you have to pull the bags apart to pop the seal. Pre sealed bags will only work for injection of LC or SS, but they don't stack nearly as well in my experience.
