so you just let speaker wire/harness dangle freely in the door w/o wrapping the plastic connector or minimizing movement 🤔. can sound deadener and fast (foam) rings improve the stock speaker performance? personally, I seldom use the rears because I'm usually the only person in the car and have fade set to full front (center). I've thought about upgrading the rear speakers but since I don't really use them, I think it could be money spent elsewhere in the car....

I noticed ya did the alpine R series for the front. Is there a reason ya went with these instead of the alpine R coaxial for the rear? Do they sound better or cheaper?
I just got an 2021 Crosstrek and should be similar to this, I know the Alpine S and R coaxial do not fit in my rear doors due to the mounting height. If I had to guess this might be the reason but I can’t say for sure.
@@evanj9097...but that is where mounting spacers come in handy. Putting the glass all of the way down and measuring from the speaker hole to the glass should give you (max) mounting depth. Figure how much you need with the new speakers and order that size (+1/16").
...if using the factory Subaru hu, choose a speaker w/low rms values and a high sensitivity. If you are going to use amps, choose a speaker that matches your amp output the best. A 60w or 90w rms speaker does you no good if those speakers see 15w from a factory hu.

just rotate the door after you take it off and set a towel on the floor so you dont scratch it .. no need to take off the door panel . good video
How are you going to access a door speaker without taking off the door panel?

What brand speaker bracket adapter did u use? Will they work on Morrel speakers?
