Best CES 2024 laptop so far? | Dell XPS

New Dell XPS lineup for 2024. We’ve seen hundreds of laptops at CES 2024 but Dell’s redesigned XPS line-up has to be our favourite so far.
New Dell XPS 13, 14 and 16 devices were announced before the show and we had the chance to get our hands on. Sufficed to say, we’re smitten.
All three adopt the same slick design updates we saw introduced with 2022’s XPS 13 Plus.
The physical function keys have been replaced by a haptic touchbar. The keyboard features Dell’s excellent zero-lattice design - with a slightly deeper dish to each key than before. And the touchpad is seamlessly integrated into a matte-finish Gorilla Glass wristrest - with haptic feedback rather than a physical click.
For internals, the XPS 13, 14 and 16 all come with Intel’s latest Core Ultra CPUs with a choice of integrated Intel Arc graphics or discrete Nvidia RTX 40-series GPUs.
We’ll put the new Dell devices through their paces when they arrive for review later in the year.

The last version keyboard was perfection for a laptop... Why did they decide they had to change it... Key spacing is not normal and I kept mis typing when trying it out. Also no dedicated function keys is a no go

nope, if I upgrade, I will buy last couple year's xps15/17. still on xps15-9550, no dongle needed, upgradable RAM, choice of smaller/bigger battery/satassd/hd anytime.

A lot of good things, but the single core performance got worse and physical Function keys removed left me with a bad view of the laptop.
