Hey man I've been subbed for about 4-5 years now. I stopped watching but here recently about a month ago I started watching again. I've legit had your videos on play, one after the next and so forth. Been waiting for you to post again, my girlfriend and I love your coastal foraging! Good job man, glad to see you still going strong!!
Yes I must do some more coastal foraging it’s been awhile. And I’m always happy when I hear couples and families with children watching it means I’m doing the right thing
The plant at 23:46 is Tradescantia Spathacea(oyster plant). Native to south/central America. Introduced to many countries as an ornamental and has become invasive. It must have drifted to the island. It's spread through a lot of islands/countries in the Pacific by drifting long distances in the ocean. A bit of a worry to see it growing there.
Yes I’ve also heard it referred to as Boat Lily which makes sense because it must get flashed out of the rivers and into the ocean and then onto the island next time I go there I’ll remove as many as I can
An overnight trip in a boat sounds divine right about now. Growing up in Florida I appreciate being on the water. Nothing but sun, sand, fishing, and beautiful weather. 👍
