At last, I cannot recall how many times I searched the web, always full of hope to find a new release with that godly (moving) voice. I've learned I've been doing that for 25 years, at some time we even listened to CT Xmas songs (bbrrruaah). Now, and we are a year late, we haven't felt younger for quite a while.

I contemplate often why.. what is it about Elizabeth in particular that moves us so? That touches our souls and helps us when coping through emotional trauma and pain? When clearly, Elizabeth has let us just enough into her experience to understand that her lyricism and singing is frequently cathartic in nature which we can surmise has been a way for her to cope and heal as well. Her art is without doubt medicinal through relation. I’m curious of the perspective of others touched in such a deep way. Why does Elizabeth’s work have such a nurturing quality that seems to help us navigate through the deepest wells of sorrow?

I am not an Evangelical Christian but I do understand the teachings having grown up in the Bible Belt of the United States. Jesus is God and when it is said that Jesus will rise.. That means in us. Jesus is God and God rises in us. In our essence. We all all one. Please know, you are never truly alone. I too have struggled my entire life and I am just entirely the Autumn of my life which has been a very lonely and heartbreaking stage in my life but I hold onto God as something beyond but also a part of myself. Our lives here sometimes seem so drawn out but in the grand scheme, this life is so very fleeting making every trivial second so incredibly beautiful and distinct. Don’t blink lest you miss a beat of your beautiful heart, which we share. Love and nurture yourself as you would love a small animal or little child. I love you. Life is more than we allow ourselves to experience sometimes. If you read ancient Indian texts you will see the cycles and the inner-connection that persist throughout all of eternity. 💖

Hi Liz You´re at your best again as you always were. I have the first version of underwater on vinyl but this version is so beautiful that I could hear it for the rest of my life in repeat. We need your music and your voice as we need the air to breathe. 25 years or so was too much to suffer without your real yourself as a musician in spite of all your participations in other bands. Honestly, as a 48 yo having been a fan since age 10- I went through many, many years of being isolated in my love for CT. Bearing the brunt of nasty razzing over my adoration as though I were an idiot without culture or taste by peers. To hear younger generations being turned onto CT revives my soul and somehow gives me a sense of optimism.
