Glad you enjoyed it! Ear plugs are a must but holy cow does it feel good when riding ... =) I am fitting a Race Fit System on my Moto2, I cant wait to see how it will compare!
Grats on your Bike! Considering this is supposed to be an "entry" bike into the brand, it is amazing. The closest resemblance I can think of is my previous Kawi Z H2 the way it delivers its power and how amazing the QS is, even though it is down more than 100hp. Riding-wise, it has a strong Moto Guzzi V7 resemblance. I miss that bike, lol ...
@@ruahinesrider I am hanging back on the V100 at least for the first model year or two. There are a few points that I dislike and hope that MG maybe will update it after the first year.
Awesome! I picked up my Trident just a couple weeks ago. I have similar mods with the quick shifter and bar end mirrors. I also got the BT module, and I also installed all the Evotech sliders (frame and both axles, rear stand bobbins, passenger peg block offs, and radiator guard). I'm debating between this SC project S1 and the Zard. I think Zard has a nice deeper tone, but it's not as "clean" looking. The S1 looks so polished and clean on the bike, and sounds incredible. I think you've convinced me... I'm gonna order the S1! Good stuff man!
HAHA, glad to help out, a word of caution though on the S1, it is very loud. Where I live no one cares and I get to enjoy it without worrying about neighbors. But if you live in the city unless you don't like your neighbor next door, they will hate you ... =) but yes it sounds amazing with the triple, I can't get enough of it!
@@imorgil the db killer was never installed and is a pain to get in and out, you have to actually take the back of the exhaust off. But from what I am told, it did not make much of a difference. Also, from experience, in all the systems I have installed, the db killer always came out as it did not sound as good as without. I guess it is just an afterthought in most cases.
WOW! The combination of that exhaust and the SC sound wicked! I'll bet that SC is so loud it'd melt the silicone putty earplugs right out of my ears. Sounds phenomenal here but it's got to be too loud for me. I'm considering the STR-1. Have to get a QS even if I don't get an exhaust.
Why do the smaller triples sound different than the bigger triples? For example, when equipping an aftermarket exhaust to the new Triumph Trident or Street Triple, it creates one of the most intoxicating exhaust notes known to the motorcycle world. In contrast, when performing exhaust upgrades on a Triumph Tiger 900, although an improved sound, it sounds more like a grunty, Honda RC51 twin. Is that due to the new T-plane Crankshaft?
You know, now that you mentioned it and I looked at some videos of 1200 tripple's with aftermarket solutions I noticed that as well. I am not sure but I know that one of the drawbakcs of the tripple design are the increased vibrations. I wonder, as the engine size gets bigger if they utelize the different crankshaft as you mentioned, but I am no expert, maybe someone with more technical kowledge could chime in.
I'll be getting a quickshifter for my 2022 Trident. Have you noticed anything weird or anything I should be aware of with this quickshifter? I heard there is an rpm limit to when you can shift. Is that true?
Not that I know of. You want to be on the gas for up shifts , and be off the gas for down shifts. My dealer had to do a re tuning after initial installation but after that it was flawless.
The SC sounds great! I have the same mirrors but I see that you have yours under the bars, do you feel that you have to take your eyes off the road more to see them? Also, do you find that the quick shifter is a bit jumpy going from 3rd into 2nd?
Yes, I have to move my head a bit with the mirrors in the current position. On the QS, my downshifts are very good, no complaints at all. There is occasionally a little notch on the upshift but the cause is me not applying enough force.
It is hard to tell, you need to sit on one and test ride one. What might be acceptable to some, may not be comfortable for others. I am 176cm or 5'9 and it fits me perfectly.
yes, I have never tried it with the DB Killer installed as it is cumbersome to get it in and out. But honestly, I was so amazed by the sound that I have not had the desire to change it.
They are indeed, but it's 100% factory. The 6th is just an overdrive. But it's part of the fun, you constantly row through the gears and with that amazing QS it is a lot of fun, at least for me. Not the fastest on the block but does not have to be and it's not designed for it.

Hello there, from looking at the video, that particular system seems a lot more muffled than the system I have. Mine is rather straight piped , sounds amazing but is very loud, earplugs are a must. Hope this helps, Cheers
This will be my first bike, it's beautiful and that custom exhaust sound is heaven
Grats! Just dial it down the first few hundred miles while you get used to it ... =)
@@ThatGermanFella what exhaust it has ?

i just bought one yesterday. have not been on a motorcycle in 25 years. so its kinda my first too.

It does sound lovely, a very musical exhaust.
Earplugs are a must, but yes there is something about it ...
Beautiful color and a wonderful sound. Good luck and safe km (miles) desired. ✌
Thanks!
Wow How do like it so far, mine arrives tomorrow & I got the Quick shifter option with it too.

How much height needed to ride these bike comfortably

Does it pops when shifting with the new quick shifter?
Only on decel not while shifting.
Any issues with this bike?
So what were those issues?
There was an initial oil leak for a faulty seal under warranty, other than that, very reliable and I have ridden it hard …
Did you have to retune the bike for that exhaust?
No, tuning is not necessary at all, was installed by the dealer and I asked that very same question. Bike runs great with no complaints.
Are gear shifts smooth ?
They are, no problems, I had a few miss shifts initally but they fine tuned the shifter at the first service. Has been working great.
Is this without the db killer
yes, I have never tried it with the DB Killer installed as it is cumbersome to get it in and out. But honestly, I was so amazed by the sound that I have not had the desire to change it.
