The Evolving World I literally just got into a lease cause I couldn't find any eectric cars in my area. I live in the deep south. I saw a 500e last night posted at a local dealership but it doesn't have the features I wanted like sun roof etc. If I could get it cheap enough I'd do it. How low do you think I could talk them down. No one drives electric here. I saw a super clean one in Miami last month for like 5k so I was thinking about offering 3500 or 4500.
A couple of things, first as you said "no one drives electric here" will be your best angle, i would use that for all it's worth. Second $5 k for even a high mileage beater would be a steal (it would be free in five years compared to gas). I think those days ended back in 2017. Your typical three year old "off lease" car will sell for around $10-11 k ($500 more w/ sunroof). Plenty of people are now aware of the car & will keep the bottom around that.
Great video man! I wanted to ask you about the wiring. If it gray and green stand for reverse light, what are those others are? I have some trunk led light that i want to install, but i can't figure out which one is for what. And on my other tail light, there is other colors then the first one. If u can help me via Facebook or Mail chat or here. I would appreciate that.
I actually want to find out those wires: - R and L turn signal. - Fog Light - Reverse signal(I actually have only one gray/green wire on my right tail light. ----------------------------------------------------- This is my wiring now: Left tail light: - Black - Yellow - Brown - Green and white - Blue and white Right tail light: - Black - Dark blue - Yellow and black - Gray and green - Yellow and green
Thanks. I'm glad you found it useful. To find out what wire is what: You need to take the rear lenses off which it sounds like you have already done. Next, take off the back cover (as to access the bulbs). Next, the whole inner piece that holds all of the bulbs is like a simple circuit board. You just follow the rigid metal part from the bulb back to the wire. That's how I did it. Start with black it's the negative. You'll see it links to all of them (yet all don't come on at the same time). Yes, green/gray on one side & different on the other. The orientation on the board & at the wiring harness is the same side to side, just mirrored.
Badass, I’m glad you noticed it was crooked 🤙🏽😉
Thanks!
Like and Subscribed! John, what is a good year to get for 500e? I heard 2016 have a fresh......what is new? Thanks!
What cable connects to the brake wire ?
Looks nice! Good job
Thanks !

Why wait? Electric drive rules.

Nice watching as your 500e 'evolves' Link to that fog light you installed here, please?
On eBay - type "rear fog light" & you'll see different vendors with variations such as smoke or solid red. Enjoy!
I’m a little confused why did you run the independent cable and intercepted it to the front fog!?
It's a easy way to have both the "front fog lights" & the "rear fog light" come on at the same time, using the same factory switch.
@@theevolvingworld Hilarious as running a rear white light while not driving in reverse is illegal in every state.

@@theevolvingworld thank you. I thought u already know all colours and their match :) i will do as you said. Thanks again! Cheers
Can you please post the link. I looked on eBay and can’t find it.
I think if you go to order history on your account it’ll be there
That is a waste of time n money . Save money to buy a new HV battery 🔋.
