Title: QCD equation of state, critical point, and dynamics of fluctuations
Abstract: Recent theory advancements in the area of mapping the QCD phase diagram and locating the critical point in heavy-ion collisions will be discussed. Topics include the universal characteristics of fireball trajectories near the critical point, the hydrodynamic framework for non-Gaussian fluctuations, and the fluctuation freeze-out in accordance with conservation laws and the principle of maximum entropy.
