Max smelt cancer in Maureen before any medical scans could pick it up. Dogs do this naturally and can be trained to pick up on tiny volatile chemicals given off by cancerous tumors. They can even be taught to alert diabetics to low blood sugar levels.

Dogs are more than man's best friend. They are indeed special.
My Lab, at age 6, would suddenly poke her nose in the area of my ovary and I could not understand why until I was rushed to the ER. Found out I had an abcess the size of a great fruit. Long story short, she saved my life. The infection was bad. Dogs can do wonderful things. I wish people wouldnt just walk away from their pets to let them runfree and be homeless.
My mom had cancer and our dog always sniffed her tummy and she didn't know why. Such a smart dog! Listen to your dog!
My husband hit his thumb so hard at work, the nail turned black and its slowly falling off. Every time he pets our corgi, she gentle nudges his hand with her nose and always kisses that thumb while looking so sad. 😭 I love our precious baby!

Ask your pastor/preacher to show you in the bible where it says we're supposed to have guardian angels watching over us, preventing us from having bad things happen. Interested to hear his response.

I have lived with dogs all my life, and one day after coming home with severe pain in the right side of my chest after crashing my motocross the oldest dog, which we'd had since I was like five years old, came up to me and seemed to be concerned and stressed, and was generally looking quite sad, even though I didn't express the fact that I was in pain. Two days later I had an x-ray, turns out I had a broken rib. Dogs are marvelous creatures indeed.

Whoever says that dogs are not intelligent don't really know what they are talking about.
They have so much love to give and ask for so little in return.
Sometimes I don’t think we deserve dogs, they are creatures sent to us as gifts, not only as a companion to comfort us but sometime even to save us. They love us unconditionally and their loyalty is unbeatable. Any angers sometimes I have for my dog for misbehaving quickly melts away when I look at the bigger picture. I hope mine never goes, but if he does, a long time from now, I know all dogs goes to heaven.
its crazy dogs have a keen sense of smell, our dog knew my dad was in his last days before he passed away. they were so close and every time my dad would try to get our dog to come in the house he would run away from him and moan, so sad

It's funny how you can look back on things with a different perspective. A few years ago our cocker spaniel started acting strange with one of our friends, he went from being super friendly to acting scared and growling at him. We joked with our friend that he must of kicked the dog or something (he never would of).
Our friend died two weeks ago from cancer. I'm absolutely certain now that the dog could smell the cancer and was trying to warn us in his own way. Unfortunately by the time our friend showed any physical symptoms it was already too late for him.

my 9th month old dog a crossbreed of labrador and jack russel... lately he always smells my private part and sometimes he wants to go inside the comfort room with me and sit beside me while im peeing. one day i woke up having a hard time urinating. i visited my obgyne for check up and give me some laboratory exams and went on a procedure... my pathology results was i have endometrial grade 1 cancer... lastweek went to a procedure called total hysterectomy. my aunt told me that since i was operated and stayed in the hospiital for 6 days my dog was sad and always sits on the corner and waiting for me. i went home yesterday and the 1st thing he does smell again my tummy and wags his tail and lick my face. he looks very happy and excited to see me.
im recuperating and Praying that everything will be ok.

Incredible that the dog detected the cancer before the mammogram. Also shows that the specialists believed the dog knew something, that otherwise I doubt the NHS would do a biopsy after a negative mammogram

Dogs and cats are truly angels sent to us from above. My cat always knows when I am sick, when I am about to leave the house, etc. She also knows when I am sad.

Things like this are what leads me to believe that God's angels aren't winged men, but rather shaggy little quadrupeds with wagging tails and bright eyes. What wonderful creatures.

animals really are amazing. I'm a firm believer that animals are hyper aware. They know when we are sad or sick. My cats always know sit by me when I'm sad or upset, and they also stay with you if you're really sick. its like they know

This is absolutely mind blowing and all to amazing!!
a few months ago we started noticing a change in one of our cats. She would avoid our 12 year old other cat. She wouldn't sleep next to him anymore and avoid contact with him in general. A week later after we noticed her acting strangely towards him our boy wouldn't eat anymore. And I had a bad feeling about the entire situation so we went to vet and he was diagnosed with liver cancer :-( and we had to put him down that same day. Animals are amazingly intuitive

we, huans are very lucky to have these furballs as our guardian angels.. we have yet to discover what theycan really do to help us on our sometimes long and lonely jorney thru time aand space.. god must have put them here for us to learn from at times my yellow lab amazes me.. by watching our everymove they knowwhen we are happy, ot unhappy, or sick or well.. gods little angels imo,: beyond words ? yes!! ! ! we are so much better because of them.!!!, man's best friend??? as almost always, absolutely,,,

Amazing animals. They should also be trained to detect heart disease and heart attacks.
Dogs aren't trained to detect disease's hey are born with it,it's one of their instincts. People can't train a dog or cat to do anything it's already capable of doing. Anyone that says they can "train" a dog/cat to detect cancer is just trying to make a buck.
@@georgegarcia7611 funny, you could train them. Detect bombs, or drugs. Just give them some material to smell such as semtex that usually common in one of material in bombs.

@@debj4613 They can also see spirits, detect earthquakes minutes before humans can, can sense when bad weather is on its way, can see in the dark,have supernatural hearing and oh did I tell you they can see spirits. Oh yes, I know it's happened to me and even the bad weather situation right before the tornado hit our rottweiller was spinning in circles.
I mean, there should be thousands of dogs around the world feeling bad..

A lot of shelter dogs could be saved if people would pull them out of the shelters and train them to do this. It doesn't have to be a purebred - folks - just training!
Max is amazing just like my fox red Labrador missy she saved my life the same way she too alerted me on my breast cancer they really are mans best friend
