if you were to train your dog the same way you would be flagged as an animal abuser.
but we have to be fair, these dog will have the life of their owner in their ''paws''
i have a training dvd from a big company in my area that are renown to train the best dogs, and let'S say i was surprised on how rough it get sometime.

There's a documentary about this, it's so interesting, but the training they go through is extremely impressive! They have to learn how to obey traffic lights, stop their owners if a car comes, etc.
Sadly, the majority of the puppies never make it to the actual guide dog stage. The tests are very strict and only the best are chosen. The ones that don't make it are either put into another working field, or sent for adoption. Some are also used for breeding more guide dogs.

I noticed every time I watch any kind a videos about guide dog, why aren't there many viewers or likes to the videos. I am really greatful that there are dog that we can trust to help those who are in needs. I am unable to hear well nor see. I find it very useful.
Maybe because most people who need/have guide dogs cannot watch videos?
All the people and animals doing important things remain unknown. Only the outliers and the screamers find media space. It's a sad truth.

@@user-ic7pq8op6n I think that could be counter productive. Seeing all those dogs abandoned and suffering must be horrible. Plus, in some countries the shelters are forced to sacrifice some of the animals. If I had to kill a dog just because nobody wants him I would kill myself first. I could adopt him myself, but there's only so many dogs that could fit in my house
If not you can just get a dog, honestly they transform you in a better version of yourself and there's a lot of happiness with them.

I wish this was an hour long!!!!
Absolutely beautiful show bred labs. Look at their blocky heads and stocky body. They would score perfect in conformity but rest aside in order to graduate from guide dog school they go through a lot of stuff and it's very very selective so a lot of dogs are given to other organizations or just given for adoption just like in school the kids who can't get A's or B's end up falling behind or chose some other career. The whole guide dog process is so interesting.
