I can relate. I know my nervous system has been damaged by sertraline, my body jerks & shakes like I'm having a fit. My doctors deny its to do with the drug. Good video's Cole. Keep telling your story.
I was taken off Lexapro and Wellbutrin in 30 days. I had been on Wellbutrin 20+ years, Lexapro, 4 years. 19 months later I am not much better. Chronic fatigue, every time I do too much exercise I go into acute withdrawal symptoms,, suicidal, rage, akathesia, hot sweats, tingling all over my body, tremors, agitation. I have been involved in many sports, all year round. Snowboarding, skiing, cross country skiing, downhill and cross country mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing. Now if I walk too hard, too many days a week I will be bedridden for a week or longer.
Same here, ex fitness professional and athlete, if I do a few pushups or walk to long I’m bed bound going insane in my mind. It’s a chemically induced neurological injury so we have to bide our time while the healing process is in construction. As hard and cruel as it is, we have to continue to be patient and do the right things, stay within our limits for now. I have hope it’ll continue to improve gradually. Will be a dream one day to do the the things I was able to do and took for granted.
I also can't walk far or do much at all. Then it becomes acute WD. And bedridden. Suffers from not being able to use the body. It's like the body and the brain don't connect.
Your very knowledgeable and shows your on the right track with everything your doing. How much NAC are you taking daily? Have you considered if IV therapy is an option to possibly help or speed up any recovery process? I’ve seen a functional doctor at a clinic here in Australia that offers IV Glutathione, NAD+ and Vitamin C for all kinds of conditions.
Hey Anton, how u going ? I’m currently taking 1000 mg daily in my morning smoothies. Not really mate, I’m just focusing on the nutrients I need through diet and certain supplements. Psychiatric drugs deplete the body of zinc, magnesium, coq10 and B vitamins, so just topping up supplies. Unfortunately no doctor out there has even mentioned this to me. IV therapy may be something I consider down the line if I really need it 👌
The ssri are only supposed to be used for 6 months to a year thats what my doctor told me , once you start feeling better you can start to come off. Most 2 year tops
Symptoms keep changing did you experience this? I’m probably at 50 symptoms and pain. It changes day by day/week by week/ month by month. I abruptly stopped 3 strong ad meds after 5 years and thought it was a breakdown, ptsd, cfs, trauma.. it’s ALL those things and more. Help most gratefully received 💆🏼♂️
Hi there, yeah it’s been a hell of a journey for me. Yep, I’ve had so many symptoms I can’t name them all like yourself, but the longer we’re off these drugs healing takes place. It might not feel like it, but I can assure you the brain and body is designed to heal and compensate for the damage. It will take time and a lot of resilience from our part.
I have longtime ear canal pain almost like burning exactly like you said.Doctors tried antibiotics and antimycotis drops, nothing never works.I would never thought it could be also side effect from antidepressant.Damm this stuff is terrible.
Hello my friend My name is Mina I wonder have you experienced akathisia? If yes, how does it manifest in your situation? Thank you I know you’ll recover You look as someone who is strong and determined Good looking too
Hey there, thanks for your positive message 😊 I’ve experienced akathisia for about 6 years now at varying intensities. Every time i dosage drop i experience an increase in the condition, and it is more prominent as I get further into my taper. The only way I believe we heal is homeostasis of dopamine and serotonin within the brain, and a healed CNS system. This will take time and perseverance.
I’ve Just used magnesium and a good quality high strength EPA/DHA oil. I also supplement with good quality B vitamins and coq10. I would prefer my serotonin and dopamine levels to reach equilibrium without supplements over time.
Hey Sabrina, to be honest at the moment I’m really hurting, suffering badly. Just holding onto hope I’ll get off these horrible drugs and heal in time. Hope you are well 😊
@@lonnievisch6009 i wouldn’t know what a window or wave is, that’s how severely damaged I am. I’m hoping by around the 3 years off mark ill have less pain and won’t be suffering as much. Will post 2 years off update later on. Thanks very much for your kind message. 🙏❤️
@@livingunderachemicalinflue5849 oh I am so sorry. Lots of people have no windows. A window is nice. You think you are almost healed. And then a wave comes crushing in. Yep, unfortunately I was told it was safe to stay on for life by the GP. I’ve had to find out the hard way how untrue that is.
Hello, did u also developed some kind of PSSD symptoms ? Sadly i got it.
Unfortunately me too. Time and perseverance heals though 🙏😊
