To have more aces than unforced errors in a set is unbelievable. This was an amazing display of tennis.
Gotta love how Serena starts out focused and business-like then afterwards, is smiles and giggles after the match. Such rare tennis qualities of a rare player from of the 20th century, maybe the RAREST of all time.

I’m going to start Tennis in 7th grade and I have zero experience with sports of any kind but I can truly see the talent in Serena. I agree that she is the Queen of Tennis!

What about the 6-3 6-2 beating Serena gave Zvonareva at the Wimbledon 2010, was that also because Zvonareva was in a crisis?? When Serena is playing her best tennis no other player can do anything whether in crisis or not!

She does not take drugs to win (like Sharapova). She is not the tallest or even the most muscular woman on the tour. You can't make claims without evidence from actual scientists and certified sports associations/federations. She made those Russian players look like amateurs. God bless Serena and Venus!! Some East German athletes were actually transgender, and they still looked more feminine than Serena and her brother Venus. Fact is Serena runs from drug tests, and looks like a steroid cheat, and to make it worse she is actually a man! Some people say all previous Female tennis stars were actually transgender as well, including Graff.
Right, right. Anyone better than a Russian tennis player is either transgender or a drugs cheat. And YET: Russian athletes have been disqualified from Rio Olympics because of doping. Not to mention also Sharapova taking drugs to improve her performance and she still could not beat Serena for 11 straight years. Now go sleep and dream of Soviet days and cabbage stew.

Russian athletes from track and field were disqualified because of accusations, there was NO evidence that every track star in Russia benefited from cover ups/bribes, not a single name of any Russian track star going to the olympics was revealed, McLaren the person who published the report has now confirmed that there were NEVER any names or any proof that the entire Russian track team was doped up, look up Dr. Exum Wade and Carl Lewis. Serena Williams is roided to the gills.....she hides from drug tests.She is a guy anyways.

Haters will always hate. No matter how you look at it Serena is here to stay and I think she wants to top Margaret Court's 24 slam titles to shut up her critics and that is not at all impossible the way she is playing. Go Serena!!!!!!
At this point after Wimbledon 2014, it would be success for Serena to win 1 more slam... But of course i wish her winning slams till 50 years old.

Court won 11 AO slams in her home country- in an era where few world class players would travel that far to play. So the real record belongs to Graf; however, with Seles out due to the stagging, Graf had no one to challenge her for years. Now, that leaves Christie & Martina with the only respected GOAT tags. But looking at just the numbers Graf is the GOAT; certainly not M.Court.
She's at 22 now. Needs 2 to match it, 3 to get the all time record.
Quality must also count. Graf made 22 slams a lot faster, and has golden slam, while Serena lacks even making 4 finals of slams in a row (Hingis and Henin made it in one season). And the fact that Serena was allowed to take 4 separate performance enhancing substances is asterisk to Serena's post 2010 career, just like Seles stabbing is asterisk to Graf's career.
Vera Zvonereva was actually at one time a very good player, this is the part of career where , not so much. Serena happen to be playing some of the best tennis of her career at this point.
Serena deserves a Presidential Medal of Freedom, and a Kennedy Center Honor in her lifetime.

Obsidian451966 he created two absolute titans and gave them each a measure of gifts. When you look at them both they have two prototypical tennis bodies that are vastly different. They are the only two people of color let along women of color to have accomplished what they have. Serena is one of the best athletes to have ever lived. God loves us all regardless of our religions cause he made us all. Who are you to say he doesn’t care about tennis? Leaning on his word, he cares and he made Serena just for him.

Yay Serena won! I didn't really care about the country they were representing. More of the person behind the flag. Serena looked very pretty and I was surprised they were able to wear sorta dresses. I expected shorts in a female tennis game.
Anyways this really was entertaining. I kinda like watching sports now, mostly tennis at the moment. I was happy when Serena won, she's really good at tennis and aim! It was entertaining, I might look at some more tennis for this year (2018 if you're in the future. Hi future, how's it like?) :D
